I surrendered to his expertise and skill in the art of Tai massage , he helped me to so much that after the session I felt instant relief, and no more pain that is to me incredible never been so relaxed and at peace after a massage ~ I am so grateful that I found David and highly recommend his Thai massage service

Their actual services are superb…read moreand if you had asked me last year, I would have rated them 5 stars and still want to rate them even higher. Had a deep regard for them and happy memories, which they have ruined. However, their strong beliefs which include heavy transphobia, combined with their spiritual bypassing and then barring me from their business and as friends as well for disagreeing with them on Facebook and calling David's transphobia "not loving" and trying to have a dialogue with him which he refused - has led to this one star review. Let me explain spiritual bypassing. Spirituality can be a force that helps enhance an individual's well-being, engaging in spiritual bypassing as a way to avoid complicated feelings or issues can ultimately stifle growth. Spiritual bypassing is a way of hiding behind spirituality or spiritual practices. It prevents people from acknowledging what they are feeling and distances them from both themselves and others. Some examples of spiritual bypassing include: Avoiding feelings of anger Believing in your own spiritual superiority as a way to hide from insecurities Believing that traumatic events must serve as "learning experiences" or that there is a silver lining behind every negative experience Believing that spiritual practices such as meditation or prayer are always positive Extremely high, often unattainable, idealism Feelings of detachment Focusing only on spirituality and ignoring the present Only focusing on the positive or being overly optimistic The combination of transphobia and spiritual bypassing has led to mental/emotional blindness to how their actions have negatively impacted both myself and others. Despite me spending many hours trying to reach out and engage them at a heart level - they are not interested. If you are transgender, or have transgender friends and know their struggles - I don't recommend this place. If you any people who are ACTUALLY loving and don't engage heavily in spiritual bypassing and seem to be left leaning but actually believe in a lot of conservative points (I don't get to have an opinion because people disagree with my opinion and show me research by experts) then I don't recommend this place. Services? Again they're all amazing. Misty is a loving sitter, David's massages are awesome (although now with my fibromyalgia and chronic pain I have been blocked from being able to have them - wow so loving) and Misty's jewelry is great. The products and services are top notch. The people have the potential to be very hurtful. Things I've done with them -several thai bodywork workshops (which I absolutely loved) -raved about them to everyone and recommended them (I won't now!!!!) -went to a Thailand trip with them to an advanced bodywork class -every in-person interaction felt kind and loving (it's online they get weird about- but in person they tend to hide behind that spiritual bypassing thing) -brought them gifts -cared deeply for them as friends and offered to help with things -wanted to carry on the thai bodywork tradition and help others! (And I did - but now I won't be able to!) I recently sent them a good memory of us in Thailand and Misty (formerly Leah) left the group chat. David sent me a PDF about letting go, which he himself needs. When I tried to confront him and talk to him - he called me manipulative and left. I believe I'm officially blocked now. By the way, for many many more they said nothing about me being cut off from them, until one day I had terrible pain and inquired about their chair massage. I guess transgender Allies don't get services! They have cut me off from a community, and a helpful practice as well as from being their friend. Furthermore, they're transphobic. Take what you will with that information. It makes me deeply sad. They had the capability of being incredibly healing people... and I gave them a long time to talk with me or just look at themselves a bit. It doesn't look like that will be happening. In summary +Amazing superb services. -Transphobic and they practice heavy spiritual bypassing. They Will cut out long time friends AND customers if they disagree with them. "Spiritual bypassing is often used to dismiss the very real concerns of people who are dealing with problems. People who are faced with discrimination are often advised to simply be "nice," "civil," or "patient" when dealing with blatant abuse. It suggests that people can rely on individual positive thinking to overcome complex social issues." They would rather ignore difficult issues and cut people out instead of doing the growth work of confronting these issues. They dismiss other people's opinions, say they need to handle their own "response" and yet IRONICALLY can't take their own advice and believe the world owes them an agreement for their transphobia.

As we were walking we found a cave, walked through it with our flashlights and came upon a door. Once we opened the door we were able to, one by one hand, over those things that were in our backpack and exit the cave. We came to another door which led us out to where we were carefree again. I really enjoyed the imagery and it felt as if I was really there because of the slow breath work and calming of our mind exercise we did right before we took the cave journey. Thank you!!

She has a super soothing voice and a really warm presence. I feel very comfortable around her, she definitely has a calming energy. Obviously that's perfect for her line of work! Laura isn't only naturally gifted at what she does, she's also extremely well educated and practiced. She has an M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health and has co-authored books on both neuroplasticity and nature rituals. She spent 8 years as a director of a PsychoNeuroPlasticity center in Texas. Her website says that she "blends neuroscience techniques, therapy approaches and interventions, and shamanistic practices" into her work based on her clients needs. Laura offers guided meditations, one on one sessions, customized rituals and ceremonies, spirit animal journeys, and more. I'm not sure what all of these things entail exactly, but I do know that Laura is on a mission to help people find peace and healing through better connecting with their own selves and with nature. I've only done two guided meditations so far, and both times I honestly felt so GOOD afterwards. You simply close your eyes while Laura directs you on what to visualize. Even though I had a hard time clearing my mind (it takes practice!!), it was so nice to physically feel my mind and body relax, even for a short while. I can only imagine how powerful and restorative Laura's energy is in person when it's so evident through a computer screen. I'm really excited to continue working with her and to share the word... she's wonderful!
