We booked this ride as a special treat for my wife's 40th birthday, and it ended up being one of the most memorable experiences we've ever had! From start to finish, everything was smooth and enjoyable. Our guide, Mercedes, was fantastic -- super friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable right away. We rode two incredible horses named Mako and Zuto. These horses were giants, but surprisingly calm and easy to ride, even for beginners like us. One of the most unique and thrilling parts of the adventure was when the horses started to swim in the water. At first, it was a little intimidating, but Mercedes reassured us and once we relaxed, it was honestly so much fun! Gliding through the water on horseback is something you don't get to experience every day. I highly recommend choosing a morning ride -- the weather is much cooler, and the scenery is just as beautiful. It made the whole ride more comfortable and enjoyable. Whether you're celebrating something special or just looking for a one-of-a-kind activity, this is absolutely worth it. We'll be talking about this birthday for years to come! read more

Hands down this was the most amazing experience with horses I have ever had. I grew up around horses and my daughter is currently into horse riding. Every vacation we go on, we have to ride horses. When I found carousel sea horses, I knew we had to do this. Chrissy (our guide) was amazing and encouraged myself, my daughter and her best friend to have the best experience possible. She was amazing with us. Mercedes is such a sweetheart and has one amazing business. I had the pleasure of riding Ty (I may have fallen in love), my daughter rode Titan and her best friend rode Finn. Honestly I would have loved to ride any of their horse. They were all so sweet. Definitely was up close and personal with all of them in the water! If you love horses and the ocean I 1000000/10 recommend booking your ride with Carousel Sea Horses because you will not be disappointed!!! Thank you ladies for an amazing experience that I will never forget ! read more

We had the most amazing time. Mercedes was extremely accommodating. The weather was questionable the morning of our ride and she got in touch with us to offer a rebook or pushing it out a little later in the day. True professionals, they had their radar up and there was a break in the day and our morning was just absolutely lovely with Skylar, our guide, and the horses. The extra photography and treats for the horse package was extremely affordable and they got amazing photos that will help us remember this core memory for years to come. For many of our group, this was the first time on a horse and the team paired us with horses that matched our personalities 100%. I highly recommend and would definitely do again. This was truly the highlight of my 8-year-old daughter's trip. And in case you were wondering, horses really can swim!! read more

We had an absolutely beautiful experience, start to finish! Communication was great when booking. Mackenzie called me to switch our days due to weather, instead of just canceling. We were so grateful to have been able to have the experience still. When we arrived they were very friendly and you could tell right away how much care they had for their horses. Chrissy was our tour guide and she was fantastic. Easy to talk to and it made the tour that much more fun. She took amazing photos as well! Memories that are now captured perfectly. These girls are just awesome and I hope this business has nothing but success in their future endeavors. Highly recommend this company for a memorable experience! Anytime I'm back that way, I'll be booking! read more

if yore in the Bradenton Sarasota area and need a bucket list thing to do, highly recommend Carousel Sea Horses. Mercedes and her crew offer a top notch experience. We were greeted with warm smiles. They are located right near Anna Maria(another gem). The horses have water saddles. We wandered sling the shoreline for a few minutes and then into the waters of the gulf. The horses swam with pep and we stopped after about twenty minutes in shallow water. Our guide took photos of our groups and allowed us to stand up in the horses. I've done beach and swimming with horses bit thid was a one if a kind outing. Highly recommend read more

It's a pity these horses destroy the protected Manatee seagrass habitat and make noise which disturbs the neighborhood. Here in Manatee county we spent millions of dollars over many years to save the endangered manatees in this special area. Then these invaders from out of town come here because they were kicked out of many other areas where they destroyed the natural habitat due to manure (poop) and trampling on the fragile seagrass. They used a loophole in the law to avoid the ordanance preventing them from hurting our endangered precious and beautiful manatees and other wildlife. read more

Mercedes was amazing from the very start! She was incredibly patient, flexible with our changing schedule, and made the whole booking process stress-free. She went out of her way to make sure my daughter felt completely comfortable, which made the experience that much more special for all of us. The ride itself was a true bucket list moment--private and peaceful, just our family and the sea. We also added the photo package and I'm SO glad we did! Mercedes captured the most incredible photos and video that we'll treasure forever. Highly, highly recommend. 10/10 experience. read more

What a fun experience we had riding the horses on the beach and in the water! The communication after I booked online was very good. When we arrived, the staff was friendly and accomodating from the start. They are experienced and knowledgeable about horses and you can see how much they care for them. Chrissy was our guide and she was great! I purchased the photo package and am so glad I did-she took so many pics and videos of us! If you are looking for something to do when in the Bradenton/Anna Maria Island area, I highly recommend this activity with Carousel Sea Horses! read more

We went for a ride back in April and we absolutely loved every moment. The horses were magical and our guide, Chrissy, was awesome. She explained exactly how to guide the horses while both walking in the water and swimming. It was a definitely a work out but so incredibly fun. We even got to stand up for a photo and left with a ton of photos and videos that our guide took. Many of the horses are also current or retired trick horses so they have cool stories and are extremely well trained. I would recommend Carousel if you are in the Bradenton area!! read more

Mercedes was our guide, along with her helpers Aspen and Skyler. They were awesome spirit and vibes throughout the whole experience. I went with my daughter, and another family of 3. Mercedes can be a bit stern but that's a given with inexperience and her babies. We were able to see some dolphins at the end which was pretty sight, along with a great ride. I was on Mako, and my daughter was on Luca. I can't wait to visit my mom again, this is the first thing I'm booking . read more

We LOVED our time with Carousel Sea Horses! Chrissy and Mercedes were phenomenal. We are horse people, and while we have our own horse at home, this was something that we would never be able to experience with our horses. They made it feel like we were back at home trail riding with our friends! Both ladies were knowledgeable, fun, and the horses were fabulous. I would LOVE to do this again, and recommend it to anyone who loves horses and the water. read more

I have no words for how amazing this experience was. Chrissy was a phenomenal guide. The love and excellent care that that they have for the horses is evident.
