The owner really put in a lot of effort into this pig theme. Everywhere we saw we were reminded that this was the pig deli. The level of details in the way the restaurant is set up is unbelievable. They even had a pig shaped crispbread specially made to go with the salmon. We both had the sausage with three tapas. We also had a pie to share. Everything was excellent. I had the best salami I have ever had. There was only one waiter in the room, and his service was fantastic. If I come back to Stockholm sometime, this would be the first place I hit up.

Once they were open, it took a long time between us being given menus to finally getting our food- 50 minutes. They should've given us our side while we were waiting for the board. We ordered a side of salami and Swedish cheese and the hairy pig board. I enjoyed the side, but the board not so much. The board consisted of wild boar sausage with broche bun, wild boar taco, peppercorn fries, and wild boar lasagna. The board was quite heavy and salty. I didn't have enough stomach space to even try the taco. I did enjoy the fries, but it's not enough for me to want to return.

The food hall has just about everything you might need to satisfy your cravings - kebabs, deli, cheesemonger, gelato, wine and spirits, coffee, candy, sushi, mochi, fruits and veggies, ramen and more. Just wow! The aisles aren't too wide but there's enough room to walk around and take in the sights as you finalize what you're going to have to eat! Prices seemed okay to me, but I'm benefiting from an extremely strong US Dollar these days. [Review 18118 overall - 19 in Sweden - 1640 of 2022.]

One of the staff helped us find a shared table and she later delivered our meal. Friendly and quick. We shared the Ankara mix plate with rice and a a mixture of lettuce, tomato and sliced onions. The kebabs had a different taste with the seasoning used but meats were moist and tender. Reasonable prices and good tasting food.

I came in on a Friday night and had terrific service and very friendly customers who welcomed me as I was the only American at the bar. I enjoyed four rounds of drinks, three Swedish Craft Beers and a French Aged Cider. The staff were very happy to share their best selection with me! They offer small palates, appetizers, and gourmet meats and cheeses to pair with their extensive Beer, Wine, and Cocktail lists. If you are an explorer and like to venture out to new venues like me, this place was more local and a typical Swedish hangout for the younger crowd. One disclaimer that didn't make this a perfect experience, there was a terrible stink/ sewage problem the night I was in.. Not sure if it was with their piping or back of house but it was quite fowl. I'm sure this was a one night problem but it got in the way of catching the aromas of both the cider and beer! A weird thing to mention but it was the laugh of the bar that night. Hope to come back another time and enjoy their updated drink and food lists!

The pain au chocolat was also excellent: crisp layers with just the right amount of dark chocolate. Coffee was smooth and rich, and refills on brewed coffee are free. The café has a relaxed vibe, and even though it was busy, the service was quick and friendly. Prices are a bit high, but worth it for the quality. Recommend if you're looking for a great coffee and pastry spot, convenient to city center. Outdoor seating if you're lucky enough to land a spot. Although the passageway where the interior seating is situated seemed awkward it actually worked out well. Service, despite a crowd, was fairly quick, I would rate the coffee an A or 9/10 on the scale of strength, low acidity/smoothness. It is espresso based and made to exact order. There are serval options for milk (whole, oat, 1/2 and 1/2, etc). The major complaint would be that there is no easy place to throw away your rubbish, nor is there a place that is clearly evident to bust your dishes, which is much needed given that this is a super busy place.. The staff is too busy to bus tables regularly, which backs up the availability of seating . This is the major reason for a one star deduction.. TIP: You can buy beans or ground coffee for home brewing.

It looks very small at first, but if you go further in, there is actually a ton of seating. The café was pretty busy when I arrived--there were a lot of students studying and groups of friends chatting--but I was able to find a seat very easily. I ordered a prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich, a regular black coffee, and a black currant bun for dessert. My total came out to be about 145 krona. I was able to pay with my American bank card with no issues. The sandwiches are already constructed and sitting at the front of the café, but they freshly panini press them to order. There was a variety of delicious looking pastries at the front for takeaway as well as at the main counter for dine-in. The menu is in Swedish but the staff were fluent in English and seemed very happy to explain the offerings in English. They were super nice and patient with me. I wasn't entirely clear on whether they bring you your food or if you're meant to wait around for it, but I went back to the counter after finding a seat and my food was ready to be picked up at that point. My sandwich was really tasty and I enjoyed the black currant bun--I probably wouldn't get it again because I'd like to try the other baked goods and I think black currant ultimately isn't really for me as a matter of personal taste, but I appreciated that it was well made. I stayed at the café for about an hour and was not bothered during that time; this is definitely a good place to get some studying done, have a chat with friends, or have some time to yourself. The atmosphere was very clean and minimalist, with a bit of a hipster vibe. There were unisex bathrooms--small but clean and well supplied. Again, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to bus my own dishes but as I was getting ready to leave, one of the staff happened to pop in and cleared my table for me. The staff seemed to come through intermittently to clean up other tables throughout my stay. I really enjoyed eating here; if I were local, I could easily imagine this to be an ideal place to hang out regularly. It seemed to be popular with both locals and visitors. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the café had a great vibe.

If you're in town, I definitely recommend stopping by this cafe when you're in town! It wasn't too busy either!

It's pretty much a one person show from what I could see. The owner attended to me efficiently and without the slightest hesitation. I'm sorry to say that I don't speak Swedish (I wish I did I can tell you) but he was able to communicate with me and for that I will always be grateful. My plate had, if I recall correctly, four breaded and fried herring fillets. It had a coleslaw (which I found a surprising addition, creamy mashed potatoes, pickled cucumbers, red onions, and a little wedge of crispbread. I loved every bite. It was a generous plate. I particularly enjoyed eating a combination of the potatoes, cuke, onion, and fish on a corner of the crispbread as I munched away. There are a few nearby picnic type tables. So there was a place I could sit and enjoy this meal overlooking the water and a corner of the old town. If you find yourself in Stockholm, do yourself a favor and go to here. Even if you think you don't like herring, try it this way. I bet you'd be surprised.
