Waste of time. It took me 20 min to find parking then they tell me they moved my appt from 10:30 to 11:30, I pick up my son at 12. I was 13 min late because I was on campus trying to find parking for over 20 min. I told them there is nobody but me to pick up my son and they still refused to accommodate me and told me to wait 50 min. The staff member was so condescending and not helpful. She was just reciting statements she memorized. I just wasted my entire day! As a mom of two little kids, my time is precious and I just wasted my whole day when my son is at school getting to this office and not even being seen. I highly DO NOT recommend. I will be going back to my preferred OBGYN who was nothing but amazing during my two pregnancies. Also, their online forms will take you forever to complete so more of my time wasted. read more

I chose this office because I wanted bioidentical hormone therapy. Not the synthetic kind which I researched causes problems. I called several times and left messages with no call back, but one day I got through made an appointment and went in. The front office staff is extremely nice not one complaint about them. I filled out a couple forms and then had my $350 consultation which lasted about 15 minutes. I didn't see the actual main doctor, it was a nurse practitioner. I asked her a few questions told her I was there because I did not want synthetic. She told me that her office mostly does bioidentical. At the end of my consultation she told me I needed to get a mammogram to make sure I didn't have any breast cancer. I explained to her that I don't do mammograms. I was injured by one previously years ago and I've researched that they might cause cancer too. I let her know I have been doing thermography and ultrasounds instead. She said I can get the ultrasound, but I would have to get an MRI which I agreed to. When I received my order for the MRI, they said I had to do with contrast and without. I then called the office and told them that I did not want to do the MRI with contrast because I didn't want to put toxic dye into my body. Someone in our family had a bad reaction years ago. A friend of ours just had reaction from the dye this last year . I had no problem doing the MRI without contrast though . Remind you, I'm at this office for the most natural hormone replacement therapy. The office staff talked with the nurse practitioner and she said I would have to get the mri with the dye, despite the fact that I was also getting an ultrasound in conjunction with the MRI to screen for any breast cancer. So I still agreed to do two different tests instead of the one mammogram but that wasn't good enough . I called one more time, and apparently the nurse practitioner spoke with all the doctors in the offices and they all agreed that along with my ultrasound. I would have to get an MRI with and without contrast to continue with their services. For an office that promotes the more healthier hormone replacement therapy, I don't understand why these questions weren't on my paperwork that I signed prior to my consultation. I would have never had the consultation if I knew these particular test were required. I thought the two other tests that I agreed to do would be sufficient.. I did request my consultation fee to be refunded and they told me no because services has been rendered . How many times have they done this to people that are looking to go the more natural path ? How many consultation fees have they took from possible patients that are looking for the most natural way to enhance their lives? Forcing people to do procedures and tests to that have been known to be toxic and injure people to receive bioidentical hormones is just backwards in my opinion. read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Connor, Lauren, Shelby and all the ladies in the office. I have been a patient of theirs going on 4-5 years. I see them now for the Hormone Pellet and all things gynecological. They always take the time to answer all my questions and concerns. I never feel rushed and I always feel that they take the time to listen. I usually email them questions or concerns and they are quick to answer which, when you are worrying about a symptom or issue is paramount. I've seen all the Doctors/ PA's in the office and they are all amazing, patient, warm and welcoming. My youngest daughter is a recent patient of theirs- I wouldn't trust her care to anyone else. We had our first baby Sept 2021 and couldn't have asked for a better experience with Dr. Conner and her team (Mercedes and Lauren). With it being our first we, of course, had a lot of questions. We appreciated all of their patience but also the fact that they were honest and straightforward in what to expect. On delivery day Dr. Conner kept in touch with the delivery nurses and actually arrived earlier than expected to prepare for the final activities. She is extremely knowledgeable in HRT and takes in consideration the patients symptoms not just the tests. I love Dr. Conner. I have been with her since my first pregnancy back in 2014 and she recently delivered my twin baby girls via C-Section this past April. Dr. Conner & her staff are genuinely friendly and wait time to be seen has always been pretty fast. I usually have anxiety when it comes to any doctor appointments, but Dr. Conner and her nurse, Mercedes, have a way of making me feel comfortable & at ease. I, actually think I will miss my routine pregnancy exams and seeing all the ladies at Orange Coast OBGYN. Appointments are pretty straightforward and my questions were always welcomed and answered. And if I ever had any questions outside of my appointments, I would message Dr. Conner on their MyChart app. and they would get back to me within reasonable time with a phone call or a message reply. During my pregnancy with my twin girls, I was diagnosed with Preeclampsia at about 30 weeks and baby girls' growth was being affected. I was feeling scared and anxious, but I trusted Dr. Conner's decision to admit me for hospital bed rest for the remainder of my pregnancy. And at 35 weeks, she delivered my healthy baby girls. I am thankful for her expert care and support throughout my pregnancies. I am lucky to have found a doctor I am so comfortable with. read more

Is it a coincidence that three people opened up a new Yelp account and posted their first reviews raving about Dr. Conner on the same day I leave my critical yet honest review about her? I think not. I'm sorry, Dr. Conner, but you can't hide all these negative reviews. Please stop misleading potential patients into thinking you're a caring and knowledgable OB. Our experience with Dr. Conner and her office was very disappointing to say the least. My wife was pregnant with our first child and we chose Dr. Conner because my wife preferred a female OB; their office was close-by as well. Every visit, Dr. Conner was very brief with us. She wasn't engaged at all when we were asking questions pertaining to diet, labor, etc. When asking about particular foods that my wife could eat, she would constantly reply "That's ok, but in moderation." Towards the end of the pregnancy, Dr. Conner diagnosed my wife with an unfavorable cervix and pushed for a C-section. We voiced our concern and affirmed that we wanted a natural birth. She just snapped saying "We have to get the baby out somehow!" Considering this was our first pregnancy, you would expect the OB to be more comforting and offer suggestions/advice/alternatives to increase the likelihood of a natural birth. If you would like to know about Dr. Conner's bedside manner, we cannot comment on that because she did not even show up! A male doctor ended up delivering our baby naturally. On the preliminary visits with Dr. Conner, she forecasted our baby's due date and said that she would be available to handle the delivery. Our baby was delivered on the EXACT due date and she was no where to be found. With regards to her office, I have never come across a more lazy, unreliable bunch in my life. My wife went to the ER twice during her pregnancy. When calling Dr. Conner's office, NO ONE would answer the phone during business hours. FYI: They would also shut down the phone line during their "one" hour lunch break and also would close the office half the day every Friday. So if you're looking to speak to Dr. Conner or an advisory nurse when calling their office, good luck! Lastly, I was aware that we had a $20 copay for each visit. After concluding our brief appointment with Dr. Conner, we would go up to the front desk and ask to settle the copay. The front desk told us that we're covered and we don't need to worry about the copay. We asked about the copay for probably the first 5-6 visits and they had the same reply. After that, we just gave up entirely about asking. When we went to the follow-up appointment after birth, they presented us with a bill for $220. I asked what that was for and they said it was for all the copays! I believe that most people would rather pay $20 every other week as opposed to a lump $220 bill. This definitely aggravated us and was the final straw. We settled the bill and told them to cancel all future appointments. AVOID DR. CONNER. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! read more

PLEASE READ. I understand why this doctor only has 3.3 stars, and I regret scheduling a consultation with her. She made me feel like an inconvenience from the beginning to the end of the visit. Looking back I wish I would've refused service, YES I was that uncomfortable, still learning how to trust my gut. I'm a young person, almost 21, and that was my first ever visit with a GYN. If you see that you have a new patient, let alone a young woman who has never seen a GYN, you should not only be ready but also WANT to explain a few things. She was only prepared to talk to me about birth control. After a quick, very rushed 2 min summary on IUD's she was ready to conclude the visit. I was confused and explained I was under the impression that I would get an examination. (Am I really paying $40 for ta 2 minute summary of why I shouldnt get an IUD?) "What do you want? A pap smear? STD testing?" She asked in that "what do you want" kind of tone. The way she was talking to me made me feel like I had no business being there! She would slightly wince while I spoke/explained myself, as if I what I was saying something stupid. She was very snappy, and spoke over me at times, making me feel like my concerns weren't important. The qualities I look for in a doctor is compassion, honesty, and attention to detail. Dr. Connor was rude, honest, and showed little concern. Maybe she just doesn't have the patience for young people. I recommend doing more research on your Gyn, and read the reviews to find a doctor fit for you. I will not be seeing Dr. Connor again. I would give her 0 stars if that was an option. She wouldn't give me the referral to a fertility dr when I asked her for it. Even though she knew I had a hard time conceiving the first time and required a fertility dr. She didnt even bother to seek further evaluation for me. She told me to wait 6 months. Well as I waited, my hormone levels got worse and worse. I pushed for a referral at 5 months. Now I have a low to no chance of conceiving another baby. Every month that goes by is worse. Looking for a KNOWLEDGEABLE, CONFIDENT, TRUSTWORTHY, SINCERE Obgyn that takes the time each appointment to make you feel comfortable about what to expect in your weeks to come? WELL KEEP LOOKING I cannot express how disappointed I am with the services I received but even more disappointed in myself for staying with Dr Conner when I all I received was 5 minutes of her time each visit. She would come in to see me, super quick ultra sound, and asked me if I had any questions. She never prepped me for any stage AND never prepped me for labor. Her assistant Shelby would be more diligent in each ultra sound and giving me important information about what I should be expecting in between weeks. Now let's talk about the labor. Let's just say I am so blessed to have had the nurses at Hoag respond as fast as they did. I'll take you back to when I'm in active labor. Dr. Conner comes in, she checks me and realizes that my son is face first. All she says is that I may have to have a cesarean but again, no details! Didn't say anything as to why I would need one or dangers of delivering him vaginally but just stood there (thinking I guess?) was while my mother in law frantically was contacting her friend who is a doula via text in the back getting answers faster than dr Conner could say anything!! Needless to say I was terrified!! I push one time and THANK GOD the baby is out and is okay. She stitches me up and because I did not get the epidural, was in agonizing pain. She had to push out the blood clots by pushing aggressively on my stomach, which is absolutely critical to get out or else I could have died. She props me back up and I feel just gushes and gushes of blood still coming out. I ask her if that's normal and she takes one look, says that it is and says her goodbyes. Meanwhile 5 minutes after she has left I'm still bleeding profusely and the nurses are now doing everything they can to stop the bleeding but realize there are still blood clots that need to be removed, that were removed by the doctor! Dr Conner comes back into the room and I'm relieved to see her so we can get this over with and she's not there to check on me but to GET HER PHONE. She says congratulations and proceeds back out of the room! I had to have the doctor on the floor come in and take them out. It was definitely a very unique delivery that could have had many negative consequences due to her inability to communicate the problem and to think fast for a solution. I hear nothing from dr Conner as a follow up checking in to see how I'm doing but I do get a call from her kind assistant Shelby who seemed to care about me and wasn't even there Fast forward to 6 weeks later to have my final check up, and when I confronted her about how neglected i felt and still there was no sincere apology I am only taking the time to write this because moms should feel cared for, educated, and confident that their doctor can think on their feet to take care of both themselves and for this precious new life. You pay a lot of money for these medical professionals to show some effort in caring for this journey you are about to embark on. Please do your research on all your doctors and if you even feel the slightest bit uncomfortable with the services you get with ANY doctor MAKE THE CHANGE. Finding a great doctor with a supportive front office staff is like finding a needle in a haystack. Luckily, I've found the needle in the Ob/Gyn haystack! Dr. Conner and her staff are extremely nice and compassionate. I have been seeing Dr. Conner and her nurse, Mayan since the beginning of my pregnancy with my first baby. I continued to see them throughout my entire pregnancy and Dr. Conner delivered our baby girl. Visits with Dr. Conner are very straightforward and she is extremely knowledgeable. Some patients have complained that visits are too short, but Dr. Conner is busy and the visits are what you make of them. Come prepared with questions so that she can answer them for you. If there are reading materials you'd like, ask for them. They'll be more than happy to give them to you. My first visit was a bit overwhelming because I wasn't aware of the multiple types of tests available for gender and disease screening. I wasn't sure which were mandatory or which lab to contact for the tests. Don't worry if you still have questions while in the exam room because Mayan will review all the information with you before you leave. During my pregnancy, Dr. Conner and Mayan had supported me and I was able to develop a great relationship with them, which is exactly what makes you love your doctor! I was induced, so luckily Dr. Conner was available for my baby's delivery. She was reassuring and calm during the entire procedure. My recovery went so well and she even came to visit us and our baby at the hospital the next day. I really love Dr. Conner, Mayan and her front office staff! read more

After a ton of research, I chose Dr. Conner to be my OBGYN for my first pregnancy. The receptionists were always very accommodating and I was always able to get an appointment. Several times, I had to reschedule, due to my husband's work schedule, and they were always accommodating and kind. I never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen at an appointment, which was great. Mercedes and Shelby always took such good care of me. They were attentive and sweet and took the time to listen to all of my concerns. Dr. Conner is kind, but she is a straight shooter. I had a pretty easy pregnancy, so that worked for me. My appointments were pretty quick, in and out, but again, I had an easy pregnancy so this really worked for me. Dr. Conner is never judgmental and never made me feel like any of my first time mom questions were silly. My baby ended up coming right on schedule, the day before Thanksgiving, and Dr. Conner was able to deliver him! I had a pretty long labor and delivery, I pushed for 3.5 hours. I started to get a fever and everyone could feel the energy in the room start to fade. Dr. Conner showed up after I had been pushing for a few hours. Immediately, I made sure to tell her that I DID NOT want a c-section. I knew I looked exhausted, but I told her that I would push for 3 more hours if I had to. I'm sure you can imagine how many Dr.'s would push their patients into a c-section (especially on the night before Thanksgiving). Dr. Conner didn't do this! She listened to me and did everything she could to deliver my baby vaginally. Within 20 minutes of walking into the room, Dr. Conner had delivered my baby! Baby boy came out so fast that Dr. C actually got a little amniotic fluid in her mouth lol! We all had a big laugh about this and Dr. Conner took it with grace. I will be returning to Dr. Conner in the future when I have my second baby. read more

Dr. Conner is amazing! I don't even know where to start! We were recommended to see Dr. Conner from a few of our friends who had chosen her to deliver their babies, and I'm soooo thankful we did! She is the sweetest, and it's clear she's very confident in what she does, which is so reassuring. My husband and I were told from the beginning that there could be a chance that she might not be able to deliver our baby, just depending on the day (she's only on call one weekend a month, so if we had him on any other of the weekends, we would be taken care of by whatever on call doctor would be working that day, which is understandable, since she has a life too!) we were very understanding of this. When I went into labor, of course it was one of the weekends that she wasn't on call, but we were okay with this, since we had been prepared for this possibility. The hospital tried contacting Dr. Conner anyways, just to see if she could possibly come in to do the delivery. Before we knew it, Dr. Conner was rushing into the hospital to be there for the birth of our baby boy. It was her weekend off, but she chose to drop whatever she was doing to be there for us. We can't express enough how appreciative we are of her. My whole delivery process felt reassuring and easy with her being there. Contacting her nurse was also so effortless during my pregnancy. Phone calls and emails were always promptly returned if I had any concerns. Our experience in general, from the office visits to the delivery, exceeded our expectations. I was referred to Orange Coast OBGYN by one of my patients. I called to make the initial appointment and they told me they don't see anyone until 10 weeks. So we wait about a month for the appointment. Go into the room and spend about 10-15mins with Dr. Conner. She basically told us how she does her appointments and starts going on and on about all these tests we have to do. Initial bloodwork, anatomy scan at 18 weeks, and she presses us into getting genetic testing done. She mentions that 99% of her patients do it, she shows us the brochure and tells us it scans for everything from A-Z basically and when we say we will think about it, she says "you have really nice insurance so it will probably only cost you around $99 so I would do it if I were you". Being first time parents, we just decide to listen to her and do the genetic testing that supposedly would only cost us $99. Word to the wise, this test has cost us HUNDREDS of dollars. Not $99 like she said. My kid is 3 months old and I'm STILL paying it off. Very, very frustrating. Throughout the pregnancy she would ask us every visit where we planned on giving birth, which has always been Hoag. There was never an option to give birth at Orange Coast Memorial and we never said we would think about it. But every time we saw her she made us feel like Hoag was not the way to go and that there was a chance that she wouldn't be able to deliver my baby because in her words "she can't be in two places at once" Why would she advertise on her website and be a provider for Hoag if she feels negative about the hospital and doesn't deliver there often? Anyway, towards the end of the pregnancy, my blood pressure starts to rise and she concludes that I must be induced at 39 weeks, even though I tested negative for pre-eclampsia. She does 2 cervical checks in the last 2 appointments leading up to my induction date, BOTH of which she cannot reach my cervix. That is when I started asking about a c-section, because I knew in my gut something was wrong. She brushed me off and just kept saying to go forward with the induction and to "plan on being there for the long haul. About 24-36 hours." Again, being first time parents we trusted our doctor and listened to what she said. Go in for the induction day, and the nurses are checking me in and they start to notice things wrong with her treatment plan. And that's when another alarm went off, I knew something was wrong. From the start of the induction to the time my son was born it was 42 hours and 3 minutes. Let that sink in. I had a cervical ballon. Pitocin. And I never fully dilated to a 10. I pushed for 6 hours. Endless vomiting from the meds I had been on for almost 2 days. And it took the nurses calling her multiple times to persuade her to come to the hospital. She told the nurse on the phone she wouldn't be able to make it because "she had a surgery in the morning and appointments after that" and that's when I started begging for a new doctor. Being in labor for that long and pushing for that long your body is exhausted. She finally walks in and I'm begging her for a c-section. She convinced me that I needed an episiotomy and a vacuum, even though I said I did not want to be cut in two places if it ended up in c-section. This is when she got frustrated and condescendingly tells me "well everyone tears so you might as well be cut". She got frustrated and took it out on me. That is when I gave up. An episiotomy and 3 failed vacuums, my sons heart rate started to drop, and I ended up in the OR for a c-section. Thank you Dr. Conner for one of the most traumatic birth stories I have ever heard. For putting my body through that much pain before AND after. Because of you, I couldn't hold my son for more than 12 hours after he was born. Because of you, he was ripped from my body in the most traumatic and unnatural way possible. Because of you, I now know I should've trusted my gut and got a new doctor. Thank you for destroying an event in my life that is supposed to be magical and empowering. Instead, I was made to feel like I was disposable. She never came to check on me in the 42 hours leading up to the birth, and she never came back in the 3 days I was there after the birth. Didn't call. Nothing. She never told me how many sutures I had, if my c-section scar had sutures or staples, never told me or my husband how to care for it or anything. She just pulled my baby from me and left. I trusted my gut and got a new doctor. Who was just as mortified as everyone else is who hears my birth story. My new OB checked everything from c-section scar, episiotomy scar, and checked my abdominal muscles for diastasis recti. She answered more questions and spent more time with me than Dr. Conner ever did. If you are a first time parent, listen to your gut. Get yourself a doctor that actually cares about you and your baby, and spends more than 10 minutes with you. read more

I started seeing Dr. Conner when I was 3 months pregnant. It was my first pregnancy and I was nervous and had a lot of questions . Caroline listened to all my worries and I never felt judged about anything I asked. She is always to the point and honest and I trusted her right of the bat. I am of advanced maternity age so there was extra appointments and extra tests and being that I was a first time mother I would call the office with any fear I had - she always said come in if I was worried and hadn't felt the baby move. I was grateful for that. I felt supported and cared for by Dr. Conner. My baby was breech and her advice was to have a scheduled c section. She believed it was the safest choice and I did too. I was safe in her hands and the surgery went perfect! I also must mention her staff Mercedes and Shelby who took such incredible care of me. I spent so much time at the office I felt like all three of them were family ! I went to this doctor when I was pregnant with my first child 4 years ago. Her bedside manner wasn't warm I felt like she rushed the meeting and as first time being pregnant we had a lot of questions about everything and her tone was condescending as if we should know this. I started seeing dr.conner in my twenties and had an abnormal pap. She was so kind and informative through the whole thing so when my insurance changed and I couldn't see her again I was really disappointed. Fast forward to my thirties and pregnant with my second. I was so thankful to have insurance that had dr.conner in its network. She always answered my questions and made me feel comfortable. The whole team was so helpful and patient (I called with a lot of questions haha)! Mercedes is great and kind at every visit, the front staff, and Shelly the nurse practitioner was also such a blessing with this pregnancy. I hadn't been feeling the baby kick that much and at one of my appointments she spent a little extra time to check the baby longer to make me feel more comfortable. Dr Conner is a wonderful Obgyn! She is very professional and has a wonderful bedside manner. I have been a patient for a few years and have received the best care from Dr. Conner and her staff. Anytime I have a question or concern I get a prompt call back with an answer. The office is clean and everyone is friendly. I recently had a medical emergency and Dr Conner got me into her office immediately and followed up with me to make sure I was doing alright the following day.
