The lows: High prices (higher than average for the area), for no particular reason. Some of the old appeals of Magnolia's Cafe are no longer there, at least when I visited. No flower wall, no reusable cup, etc. Not even a posted or printed menu to look at. Not sure what's going on, but my experience definitely wasn't the one I've been seeing on Instagram for months. Still, the drink was really very good. I wouldn't splurge on it again, but I will remember it fondly, and I'd recommend that anyone stop by at least once if they see Magnolia's Cafe parked somewhere.

Really wanted to give it a higher rating, but couldn't today. Newly opened OrganicAF on…read moreBattleground, is unfortunately pricey AF. Had the quality been up to par and the value received worth it, the price could have been justified. Went with the Sunset Breeze bowl. Overall tasty, but the proportions were off. Seemed like there was half a bottle of honey poured in, where the fruit and granola were swimming in it. A little hint of honey is always nice in a bowl like this, but not as the main event. Definitely not worth it for $14. This could have been super tasty had it been made right. Smoothies also a bit on the high end compared to many other local smoothie and bowl joints. Regular juices, most at or above $10 each, also pricey. Don't know if the quality is any better than my experience with this bowl, but for $10 and my already so so experience with the bowl, I'm not about to try it at this point. The spot looks great. Clean, open with plenty of light and a wall of windows. Comfy seating with chairs and even a couch. Too bad we won't be enjoying this lovely space unless they increase their quality and/or reduce their prices. I'm hopeful they do, and this is just a bit of growing pains during their first few months of opening. I will try it again once they're further along and hope to leave a better review. For now, there are plenty of other less pricey and better quality smoothie/bowl/juice joints locally and nearby.

This is a small mini community with most trailers permanently parked and setup, rented yearly. So far they have made me feel welcome. The grill is all 1970's and reminds me of places from years gone by when things were much more simple. The menu is hot dogs, hamburgers, and simple sandwiches. They have some ice cream to cool down on a hot day. The service was friendly enough. Everything is cooked to order. It was ok, nothing wrong with it. If you are here on the lake, and want to just pull your boat up to one of the docks and grab a bite. There aren't many options for that here so it is very convenient. He was able to answer any question I had about the 200 or so teas the shop stocks and knows exactly where his merchandise is located. If you are looking for a special piece of tea equipment, accessories, china tea sets, scones, honeys or anything related his shop has it or is going to get it! The teas are from Africa, Japan, China, India, Egypt just everywhere tea is grown. They have tea blends and some teas for medicinal uses as well. On one side of the shop is a myriad of books filling the wall and tables to spend some time if you like sipping on a tea and reading or I'm thinking playing cards. I spent more time there then I thought looking at the teas and merchandise while Wade explained and described the teas I was interested in, a fun way to spend the time getting an education about teas and their back story which I find very interesting. I came in for a tea strainer and maybe a tea or 2 but I left with more knowledge about the tea world and found a friendly shop with just about everything you would need to accompany a tea purchase and a place to linger w a cuppa as some say.

Also, the bubble tea is slightly more than what I pay for at other bubble tea places, but it is the only place that you can get bubbletea in downtown winston salem.
