BEWARE. I contacted Austin Riley Gaines off a Facebook marketplace post about hydroseeding my backyard. I let him know in advance I wanted it done quickly but that I also knew nothing about the process. We settled on a price and appointment time that ended up getting pushed back because of rain. On Tuesday he sprayed the yard. He noted to me that it was not as bright and thick because the ground was already saturated. It rained very hard two days later on Thursday and I messaged Austin about my concerns. He assured me that the seed should have stayed in place even with the rain, but also that with my conditions I'll just have to wait and see what happens. I contacted him again on Friday of last week to show him that in fact the seed had all displaced to 1 part of the yard but he had blocked me from his personal page as well as the business page. Now I would've thought that the professional doing the work here would've advised me not to spray on a rainy week if my conditions were going to make the seed not grow or wash away. Or atleast when I expressed my concern over the seed displacement he would've offered a solution. But no he chose to block me instead. I'm moving on with a real professional company who is going to properly prep and Hydroseed my yard. read more
