USED ME FOR FREE ADVERTISING (I FOUND OUT TODAY) & NOW REFUSES TO CUT MY GRASS Especially after you posted my house w/o my permission ALL OVER THE INTERNET NOW, FOREVER! Who gave you that Right?! NOT ME! No response & not a problem solver when he runs into issues. He says that he doesn't have enough employees to take care of current clients yards (like myself). So, I was CUT OFF! Well grass doesn't wait. He told me 4 weeks ago when he was here that May would be my Zoysia wake up time and back to my schedule but I am still waiting and wondering when and Is he going to hire more employees to handle his client load? But taking on more clients and jobs is not the answer to solve your problem. Biting off more than you can chew & spreading yourself too thin is not your current clients fault. Reputation is all about customer relations & showing up for work already promised and hired for; balancing new projects too. I just want my grass cut, simple. when you agree to work & take clients you should show up for what you agreed to do He hasn't shown up to cut my grass since he was here last month to do the pine straw; said in May he would begin my Zoysia after it woke up and he says they DO NOT serve Anderson any longer? Anyone else hear this? Now I am forced to delete and change my review; seeking clarity and input from other Anderson locals. Has he has spread himself too thin and not enough employees to cover the clients he currently has or what is it. Since when do your employees get to say no when they are told to take over cutting clients yards even if it is to free up the owner for other projects. I have been a client for a couple of years now and I am being told "NO" and my lawn now has to suffer, because your employee picks & chooses which yards to cut?! I have had the pleasure of finding Gerard and his guys in 2019 and all has been wonderful for the last two years. And trust them fully and have been very satisfied and I make sure that they know what a great job they do each time. I have used them for law cutting, pine straw mulching, weed control, gutter cleaning and pressure washing the house. Currently I had budgeted for some drainage repairs and irrigation repairs and continuation of sod this year along with reconfiguring the flowerbeds and replacing retaining walls. Just last month I paid almost $600 Gerard for spring cleanup and mulching. He cut the yard and mulched the leaves in the lawn and they refreshed the pine straw again and did some yard cleanup. He said they would be back in May to start up my biweekly cuttings on my Zoysia lawn as it begins to wake up for the year (that was a lie) It's May, so I reached out to Gerard to find out when they were going to start cutting and make sure I was on the schedule this month. Gerard now claims they no longer cut Zoysia or service Anderson? What since when, last month since we spoke. You've known this since win and never told me or any of your other clients? Confused confused confused. But, I am now hearing from locals since my post on Facebook that also use Gerard's services and a cousin that owns a local comm landscaping co, that I am being lied to and given the run around He lives in Anderson 8 miles away, runs business in Anderson, advertises he serves Anderson and the surrounding areas but now he doesn't serve Anderson for cutting & lawn maintenance service anymore? I'm very blindsided and confused. So had anyone else had this experience this month. He said his employee has taken over all yards in Anderson but has told him "no" twice when he's told to take over clients yards? The tail seems to be wagging the dog. My employees wouldn't be employees for long if they told me "no"! Shocked to why long time clients, like myself, are being snuffed, lied to or whatever and are being "kicked to the curb" and told "no we don't cut grass anymore" when they advertise that they do. Lots of confusion and waiting for a further response and clarity from the owner Gerard as to what is going on. Do the employees call the shots now? Who's business is it and what exactly do you still offer as far as services. Are my Thousands of dollars/yr chump change now and not worth your time? Does a good reputation mean nothing anymore. Kicking clients out to make room for higher-paying jobs and projects? My yard takes 10-15 minutes to do on average at $65 a pop and on to the next yard. $260-390 an hour average is awesome, who would turn down that. SO they all of a sudden don't have equipment for Zoysia??? Huh? Or cut grass in Anderson anymore but he will install it & he will do my landscaping needs but won't maintain it? I just want my grass cut Will review sites like Angi, Yelp,manta, Porch, Houzz, Thumbtack, Google, FB, HomeAdvisor, Glass Door and many I have to register for DON'T HIRE. We had just purchased a home with lush and elaborate landscaping that was way beyond my scope of expertise. I knew I needed professional attention immediately. This wasn't a small job either. The shrubs (that had turned into trees), along with the trees and florals and beds, and rock beds and more rock beds, and on and on, needed trimming and all the beds needed mulch. Gerard and his team stepped up to the plate in a big way. They were all extremely professional, friendly, and attentive to detail.
