I have two very large service dogs who were (not very well) trained when they six months old in…read morebasic tasks. They are 5 now. Jacob had his hands full with the one I thought would be the easiest to train. He refused to eat for almost a week! My other boy (traitor - lol) immediately fell in love with him and loved the training. My one boy finally came around and started eating and training and fell in with it fast and he is amazing! The turn-over is epic! The first day he brings them home and it's like a reintroduction to the dogs and letting them know things have changed, they don't rule the house any longer. We do a walk through of techniques and commands and answers any questions. The dogs get too comfortable and bamm! Back to the center they go for refresher night and a bath!!! The next day is one on one training and we take each dog out to work with me. What a dream!!! I don't have to worry about getting torn muscles or broken joints any longer. The dogs are sure of themselves and I can trust them. This is one month later and it's still wonderful!!!! Jacob is an amazing trainer.

Since the staff change my dog has boarded 2x, during pickup they are not remembering toys brought with her, unused food being returned and forgetting her harness and leash, Not a huge deal except i live an hour and half away, still not a huge deal spoke with Leland (mgr) and he assured me that he would get issue resolved. Upon pickup this past weekend I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with their NEW receptionist, not impressed at all... While discussing what was being forgotten this time I asked about the ball forgotten from last visit and she got an attitude and rolled her eyes at me (of course facing away from the camera they have in the lobby) Well Im sorry that set off my bitch switch and for that I apologize but her eye rolling and attitude were uncalled for in a professional place of business, and when the OLD staff here were always so gracious and friendly no matter what then its unexpected and unacceptable, I work in customer service and would not have a job if i rolled my eyes at a customer. At any rate I will no longer be bringing my Tia to this facility. They really should do some customer service training with this individual as she clearly needs it . Based on the recommendation of friends, we trusted Jennifer at Mattie's Board ing Kennel with our…read morespoiled 2 1/2 year old Doberman who had never been left with anyone even for an hour;, much less overnight! Luka LOVED it!!! He has had two overnights in the past month here and he really likes it! He has personal attention, room and time to run the yard! We will continue to use Jennifer at Mattie's Boarding Kennel in the future as a well! Strongly recommend!
