Plus if people want to hang out downstairs and upstairs, it could easily accommodate 100 or so people. The yacht had a front porch and a back porch downstairs, both covered but open on the sides. The front had a swing and some rocking chairs while the back had a patio table and patio chairs. We unfortunately had a rainy day, but hanging out on either of these porches allowed us to enjoy the view without getting wet. They also have a cabin downstairs which is super nice. You'd think you're on a cruise. the inside of the cabin is really nice, all wood, carpeted and very clean. There's a little countertop, a bar, refrigerator, TV, couch etc. There are 3 bathrooms (maybe more?) all of which are very clean and well maintained. The upstairs deck is partially covered. If it's raining, you will get a little wet while on the stairs going up or down, but it's not bad. They have a bar upstairs, and while we were there, they kept having trouble with the power going in and out, because of which the registers wouldn't work, and we had to wait forever for drinks. But in the end they got it working as everything was good. It's a hassle if you are paying by card, so bring cash! Plus, cash tips are always better, right? Our captain was super nice, as were the servers/bar tenders. The captain even let some of us steer the boat! Do give them a try for your next party/work event. Highly recommended!

Never had this kind of experience before when renting cars, boats, jet skis, etc - they usually ask on the website (which they did and I answered) or they ask when we get there. They then proceed to tell my I need a boating safety certificate since I'm born in 1988, not before. I instead, give them my friends info who was born in 1985 and said she will drive. They really texted her at 9pm on a Wednesday night and started asking her about her boating experience. It was odd to say the least. At 11:15pm they email me and tell me that they have decided not to approve my request for a boat. It was a weirdest, most unprofessional experience I've had trying to rent any type of equipment like this. I'd avoid them and go with nicer, cheaper alternatives.

Morningstar completely lost my trust when they charged us for "cosmetic damage" to the boat. We didn't run into other boats. We didn't have trouble docking. We had a sober captain the whole time.. They charged us for pulling the boat up onto a sandy beach. No damage to the boat or motor, just some sand on the toons. Total fiasco trying to get our deposit back. Horrible communication. Will never go back.

However, it ended up a disaster due to credit card holds and fines.... When we arrived back to the Marina, we were told that a GPS had sensed we were too close to the beach and they would need to do a full inspection of the boat. A $2000 hold was put on our credit card, for what seemed like forever!! The problem? The boats already had heavy wear and tear prior to our using them (they looked pretty old). There were no pictures or pre-inspection done with the party, so I question how they know what party caused the damage. When I asked the manager for any proof the damage was caused by our party, he said something along the lines of "We just know, we looked before". The boat is taken it multiple times a week and we were very cautious about keeping the boat damage-free (raising the trim, using buoys etc.,). My question for Morning "one"star... Did going too close to the beach cause the radio to break as well? (it was never working from the start) based on their logic we should replace that too. In the end we were charged a hefty fine with no real way to do anything about it. Part of me wonders if it was because we were all in our mid-20s and easy targets, hmmmm. The boat he brought was nothing like the pictures he sent me when I booked--it was old, in terrible condition, and not even close to what was promised. There were no buoys, the tube we paid an extra $50 for didn't work, and the radio was barely functional. Even worse, the pontoon kept taking on water, to the point where we honestly felt like we were going to sink. It was terrifying and completely unacceptable. The communication was horrible from start to finish. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. If I could give zero stars, I would. Save yourself the stress and danger--rent from somewhere else.
