They are famous for their barbacoa tacos and they come in three different styles: soft, hard and planchados or ironed. So we decided to try these planchados and they were pretty amazing. My son who was saying we were not going to eat any decided not to share his and have the whole thing. The dorados or hard shell tacos were really good too and the onions and fixings really made everything delicious. He ordered a jericalla and some different flavored flans and everything was so good. I think I am going to put on 10 lbs!!! We had never had jericalla before so that was something new that we got to try. I also ordered a horchata to drink. The tacos came out pretty quickly. The pastor was really good. But the star of the show was the asada WITH CHEESE. The cheese is the key. They fry up the cheese on the griddle and it gives it a slightly brown color from the heat. The asada taco with cheese is the best tacos I've ever had. If you go here order this! I ended up ordering 2 more asadas with cheese because it was so good. They have some delicious salsa at the table as well as pico de gallo and of course lime. I also ordered a jaricalla which is similar to flan. Very delicious! This place is a must stop restaurant when in Guadalajara. It does get pretty busy for a good reason.
