Beautiful place to visit! And near Trago for shopping too!!! lol Huge caverns which have guided walks. Plenty of room for parking, found easily just off the A38 from Liskeard to Bodmin. Absolutely fantastic for concerts as you can imagine, the acoustics are unbelievable! Beautifully Lit! We looked at having our wedding here! They hire it out and have a local vicar wed you. You can see some of the weddings which have been held there if you go to their website, easily found with google :) They also have a Fairy Garden, a woodland walk, this is quite steep in places and extremely uneven - not recommended if you have a hip or knee problem lol Going back to the Caverns - some fantastic pools/lakes in there too. The guided tour was fantastic, extremely informative! Lots of things to keep your interest and fab for the older child. Wrap up warm and wear sensible footwear! You are each given hard hats to wear whilst inside. Displays of rocks and Cornish granites and slates, quartz and allsorts of other beautifully coloured stones! A great visual display! The guide also interacts with the visitors and gets them to help with showing everyone else how things were once done. From mining and extracting the slate etc. This is definitely one place worth visiting and I will keep going back again and again!!!! read more

These Caverns are well worth a visit in their own right with walks around the area as well. There are also many displays and concerts during the year and weddings can also be booked here. It is well worth a visit. read more
