Best thing about this company is its' commitment to the environment. I am on a well system so was glad to find a company using environmentally sensitive products. Also, I cannot say enough good things about their communication skills with me. Ax came out and explained in detail each step of the process. Furthermore, he kept me up-to-date on when to expect them, what would happen next, etc. There were some minor "over-sprays" around some of my windows and they came and corrected the situation promptly. Exterior painting is not the only service they provide. I will absolutely use them again and have already recommended them to several friends. Finally, I checked the BBB and they are highly rated through that bureau also.

Not soon after work was done all our woodwork was peeling when bumped into. We waited till now to have it all stripped primed and repainted. They did not prep the surface first. We were told they would complete one room at a time so we could unpack. That did not happen. The owner did not check up on the work regularly. We were in a hurry and were very disappointed. Ax promised a lot and delivered much less.

Did a great job painting my house 2 1/2 years ago. Last year I call Mark about some cracks that he…read morerepaired that came back. Took him a week before he called me back, then a another two weeks of 'I'll be there tomorrow'. He finally did the repair, when I wasn't home, it wasn't that good. I could still see the crack line. Anyway I left it. Last month, my wife noticed some blisters on the coins on the front of the house. Called Mark, he picks up and I tell him about the blisters and sent him pictures. He said he will be there to see it tomorrow or the next day. Ten days go by, so I called and texted him. He answers the text and said he was on vacation and he wants the Sherwin-Williams paint rep to inspect the job. That was Nov 16th, no word from Mark or the paint rep. Left a couple of voicemail and text, no reply. I even told him that if he doesn't want to do the repairs, let me know and I'll go on. Still no reply. Will update this post. Mark and a helper came back last week to complete the repairs. They got there an half hour early and look over what needed to be done. They brought everything that they needed and started working. They completed the repairs about four hours later. The blisters on the coins were completed satisfactory but the crack repair can still be seen as a bump where the crack was. They primed and painted all areas and left the paint for future touch ups . I would have given four maybe five stars if it wasn't for the bump on the crack repair and the bad or no communication before the repairs. Hopefully he he reads this reviews and communicates better with clients. Mark and his helper came back today and repaired the bump on the early crack repair. The job looks good now. Will use him again.

If you want a beautiful texture finish and top class paint job in your home, contact Cara PVD…read morePainting! Jimmy Cara is a first rate businessman and along with his crew that worked on my home, Manuel and Nari, they did a fantastic job. Everyone that sees our walls are very impressed with the finish. There are so many nightmare stories right now about scam contractors and half assed workers that take advantage of homeowners. When I called Cara PVD and asked about getting my walls textured and painted, Jimmy told me he was working on a home not far from me. He told me to drive over and look at the work he was doing. It looked spectacular! I hired him right away, without looking any further. These guys work very fast and tape and mask everything off perfectly. Jimmy found some rough spots on my old walls and spackled and sanded over them. He kept sanding and sanding. I said, "Jimmy, that is fine..". He said, "No! It must be perfect"! I wish I could give them 10 STARS!

I hired Lion Painting, LLC for an exterior pressure washing service for cleaning purposes only, not…read morefor paint preparation or refinishing. After the work was completed, I discovered that the finish had been removed from my stained wood doors and awnings, and damage that was not present prior to the service. The invoice neither authorized nor disclosed pressure washing of finished or stained wood surfaces, nor did it include any warning about the risk of damage. When I raised the issue, responsibility was disputed. Shortly thereafter, I was provided with an estimate to sand, restain, and refinish the same wood surfaces, rather than have the matter addressed through insurance. I am pursuing a resolution through appropriate channels. Based on my experience, I think it's best that homeowners clearly confirm, in writing, the specific cleaning methods to be used on finished wood surfaces before proceeding.
