We had two kids…read morethat played with this club and we pulled them both out after a couple of years (we should have done it earlier but friends...). We have been with this club for a few years and we liked the affordability and parent coaches (even though most are not highly qualified/certified). However, the club is ran by what many have come to call "The Three Musketeers". The DOC controls much of the club and influences things although his temper and ego drives many families away (his way or the highway and not pleasant). The Academy Director tends to coach as many teams as possible to make it financially feasible. My experiences with the club president were pleasant but I hear he tends to follow the decisions of the other two. The second level in the club includes a few coaches and team managers that are preferenced and support/bats for the club management (they mostly coach many teams and are paid). You get what you pay for and leadership lacks the compassion and competency required to run a community soccer club. Good step for those coming from recreational soccer with low expectations. Other local clubs are more structured and deliver a better competitive soccer experience (although you pay a bit more). Just sharing our family experience. Enjoy the game!

The gym is so clean and the staff is always attentive and supportive of everyone's experience during games and during individual training. She especially loves when she gets to use the giant screens because it makes basketball more fun. The camp was a great time for her and she can't wait to go back and do another one. My husband has also played in games at Shoot360 in El Dorado Hills and has had a great time, and said the referees were fair and kept the game going. I highly recommend Shoot360 in El Dorado Hills if you have a daughter who wants to learn to play basketball in a fun and safe environment.

I would not recommend this camp based on our experience…read more My 11-year-old son repeatedly complained of severe stomach pain throughout the day while attending camp. He even sat out several drills because he wasn't feeling well and gave the staff my phone number, asking them to call me. Despite multiple complaints and my son specifically requesting that I be contacted, no one called. When he got home, I could immediately tell something was seriously wrong. We took him to the emergency room, where he was diagnosed with acute appendicitis and required emergency surgery. As a parent, it's terrifying to think that my child was asking for help and no one notified me. Had his condition continued to worsen without medical attention, the outcome could have been much more serious. What was equally disappointing was how this situation was handled afterward. When I spoke with the owner, Ron (or Roy), I found him to be dismissive, condescending, and lacking empathy. At no point did I feel that there was genuine concern for what my son had gone through. Even more surprising, no one from the facility reached out in the days following to check on my son after his emergency surgery. My younger son was also registered to attend camp that week, and no one contacted us to see if he would be attending or to ask how our family was doing. Because of this experience and the lack of communication, I chose not to send him. I understand that staff are not medical professionals, but they are responsible for communicating with parents when a child repeatedly complains of significant pain or asks for a parent to be contacted. A simple phone call could have made all the difference. I hope this review encourages the camp to improve its communication policies and take children's health concerns more seriously so another family doesn't have to experience what ours did.

I strongly recommend Hard90 for any families looking for a positive program that will develop your player. After back to back Little League seasons with little to no development, we knew we had to try something new. Our 2 boys worked with a few hitting coaches at local facilities, but other than additional reps, it wasn't anything special. For over a year, we heard great things about Hard90 & finally decided to give it a try and signed both of our boys up for a 3 month membership. From the start, it was immediately clear that their professional coaches and developmental approach was above the rest. Within weeks we saw growth and their confidence soared...so much so, that they both asked to try out for the their team! This year, the boys both set a goal to take full advantage of all that Hard 90 offers: Team practices, 1:1 coaching, Power Classes, etc. After 1 year with Hard90, it is clear that it has been transformative to their overall happiness, self esteem, love for the game, mechanics, and overall development. All of the Hard90 coaches are hands down- exceptional. Looking back, my only regret is we waited so long! Thank you Hard90! We are forever grateful and so happy that our boys are part of the Hard90 Family!

The worst baseball academy in Northern California…read more OUTDOOR PRACTICES: there are over 40 kids and only 3 inexperience coaches. No professional structure that could lead and benefit athletes. INDOOR PRACTICES: Only one coach for a roster of 14-15 kids. No clear guidance or structure. COACHES: are very young who do not have children of their own which is directly proportion to lack of their knowledge in child/youth psychology and behaviors. Poor leadership and unfairness during games resulted in destroying athletes' motivations and drive in order to succeed on their goals. The lack of education, knowledge, leadership and kids/youth psychology not only makes this academy one of the worst academies in the region but very harmful to youths both psychologically and emotionally. There are NO ADDED VALUES in enrolling kids & youths in HARD 90 BASEBALL ACADEMY.

I understood the commitment and chose to move forward because of the convenience of the location near my home. Unfortunately, my experience as a member has been disappointing from the start. Getting basic information has been exhausting -- phone calls go unanswered, emails don't go through, and when I finally reached someone, I was told the club is somehow "separate" from the swim team while also connected to it. Most of what I've learned has come from navigating the website myself or asking other swim team parents, who have honestly been more helpful than the staff. Communication overall has been poor. I constantly receive emails asking for donations and fundraising support for facility renovations, yet Imsomehow important weekly updates and member information emails don't come through. For the cost, the value also feels questionable. Membership dues are higher than many gym memberships, yet the amenities are limited to a pool, and tennis courts. On top of monthly dues, I was still required to pay separately for my daughter to attend a school field trip hosted at the club. The atmosphere also feels very exclusive and cliquish. Many of the board members appear to be friends, family, or married to one another. I was sold on the idea of joining a welcoming "community," but I have not felt welcomed at all. Whenever concerns are raised, the response is usually "I'm new" or "we have a new system," with very little effort made to actually address or resolve the issues. Overall, this has not been the positive community experience that was promised.

I am so impressed with how they teach the kids all the skills they need while fostering the love of basketball in a fun and safe environment. We enrolled our 5- and 7-year-olds, but the team did not release practice times until after the deadline for a full refund had already passed. When the schedule was finally shared, practices were quite late on school nights--later than other teams in the league--and simply not reasonable for young kids. Because of this, we had to withdraw before the season even started. While the team did follow their written policy and issued a 50% refund, we still lost $390 despite never using the program. What feels unacceptable is that families are required to commit financially before being given critical information like practice times. There was also no flexibility offered, even though we withdrew well in advance and there was a waitlist for our age group. I strongly recommend waiting until practice schedules are released before registering, as you may not be able to get your money back if the schedule doesn't work for your family.
