We enrolled my 2nd daughter in 2023 when she was 4 months old. I have nothing but great things to say about KCC! They provided a safe and welcoming place for my children that allowed me to CONFIDENTLY return back to work leaving them at such a young age because I knew they were in great hands. My family has gotten to know the teachers and directors very well and they have become like a second family. They have always been open to taking time to talk with us through every parenting challenge with our kids and at one point one of the teachers even made a personalized chart for us to use at home to help with our daughters at home behavior struggles, which helped tremendously. Now that my oldest is in Kindergarten, I am witnessing how well KCC prepared the TK class. In fact, most of the curriculum she has received so far in Kindergarten seems to be things that was already mastered in the TK class at KCC. Beyond the traditional academics, the kids have a lot of fun and there are endless activities that have kept my kids happy and looking forward to going to school every day. There are also a variety of school events for all of the holidays which allow opportunities to meet other parents and spend time with the teachers. There are scheduled parent teacher conferences throughout the year which I was impressed with the detail of the evaluations. Overall, I would 10/10 recommend KCC to anyone who wants a safe and nurturing place for their kids to develop into their fullest potential.

What stands out most is how well-structured everything is. There's a clear routine that helps the kids feel secure and supported, while still allowing them to have fun, learn, and be themselves. You can tell the team truly understands how to create a positive environment where children can thrive. My daughter feels comfortable and happy every day she's there. I'm really grateful for the level of care and heart they put into what they do. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a safe, structured, and nurturing place for their child.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend La Petite Academy after my daughter's three months at this…read morecenter. From the beginning, we never truly felt welcomed. It took about three weeks for my daughter to get a name tag on her cubby, and only after I brought it up. There was also a classroom display with pictures of the children, yet my daughter was never added during the entire three months she attended. I had concerns about supervision and staffing. There were times when I observed what appeared to be more children with one teacher than I understood to be allowed. I also witnessed teachers on their phones and some staff handling children by their arms more roughly than I was comfortable with. Sprout updates didn't always seem accurate, and children sometimes weren't checked into the camera system until hours after drop-off. Potty training was another frustration. I repeatedly explained that my daughter was successfully potty training at home, yet they continued saying she "wasn't ready" and putting her in diapers. She had ONE accident within her first few days and none afterward. I also asked that she not wear a diaper during nap because she doesn't at home, yet I would sometimes pick her up still wearing a full diaper. My daughter is an active 3-year-old, and this was her first real school setting. She needed redirection and would sometimes leave her designated area within their open-concept setup. Instead of feeling like they had patience while she adjusted, I felt she was treated like a problem because she wasn't a child who would simply sit down and stay in one area. It eventually reached the point where I was told Ms. Alex was overwhelmed and crying because my 3-year-old kept leaving her designated area. I was also told by my husband that Ms. Lorene suggested my daughter may have special needs and essentially shouldn't be at their school. When I brought this to Jamie, the director, her immediate response was, "Ms. Lorene is my sweetest teacher, she would never say that." I felt immediately dismissed instead of having my concern taken seriously. After bringing this up, it felt like even more negative things suddenly started being said about my daughter, followed by comments about how much they "truly cared about her." Unfortunately, I never felt or saw that care reflected in our experience. Rarely did I hear something genuinely positive about my daughter unless it came after something negative. Jamie was also very unpleasant to communicate with regarding concerns. In my experience, her tone was unwelcoming, and I often felt concerns were brushed off rather than genuinely addressed. We were paying $480 A WEEK for care. At that price, I expected significantly better supervision, communication, patience, professionalism, and overall care. If your child is active, has a speech delay, behavioral challenges, needs additional redirection, or this will be their first school setting, I personally would NOT recommend this center. Three-year-olds are still learning how to function in a classroom. They need patience, movement, guidance, and redirection--not to be made to feel like they don't belong because they require more attention. Ultimately, I became uncomfortable enough that I withdrew my daughter immediately, called corporate and essentially filed a complaint. Every family's experience may be different, but based on ours, this was not the supportive or welcoming environment I expected--especially at $480 a week.

If you're looking for a daycare or want to give your child a great head start with learning and curriculum based activities, I highly recommend La Petite Academy. The teachers and staff are all so loving, kind, and attentive. They genuinely care about each child and create an environment where kids feel safe, happy, and excited to learn. During the time our son was here, we've seen him grow so much, not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. It's clear that the teachers put a lot of time, patience, and care into what they do. We're incredibly grateful for all the love, support, and encouragement you've shown our son. He'll definitely miss his teachers and friends, and so will we. Thank you again for everything. We highly recommend La Petite Academy to any family looking for a wonderful daycare and early learning program.

Seven years ago, while touring preschools for our first child, we walked into Carmel Mountain…read morePreschool and immediately knew there was something special about it. My mom, who has spent 40 years in education and childcare, toured the school with me. By the end, she simply said, "Nothing else we've seen compares to this. The decision is easy." She was right. Choosing CMP meant a longer drive for our family than several other schools we considered, but we knew it was worth making it work--and seven years and two children later, I can say without hesitation that it was one of the best decisions we've made for our kids. The campus itself is truly unmatched. Each age group has dedicated outdoor and playground spaces thoughtfully designed for their developmental stage, and the school has created so many different environments for children to explore and grow. Art, nature, STEAM, farm-to-table experiences, outdoor learning--the list goes on. There is so much intention behind how the campus is designed and how children experience it. But what has made CMP so special to us goes far beyond the campus. The teachers and staff have become like family. They have nurtured both of our children with so much love, patience, and genuine care. When we returned years later with our second child, they welcomed our entire family back with open arms. There is a feeling of warmth and community here that is difficult to put into words. It truly feels like home. As working parents, we have also deeply appreciated how reliable CMP has been. Compared with other preschools, they maintain an incredibly consistent schedule with very few non-holiday closures. That reliability matters enormously to families who depend on childcare. We saw that commitment firsthand during COVID, when safe, dependable childcare was especially critical for parents who, like us, were essential workers. We are so grateful to be a CMP family. Looking back over these seven years, I have no doubt that the incredible teachers, loving environment, thoughtfully designed campus, and experiences our children have had here have given them such a beautiful start to their childhood. CMP will always hold a very special place in our family's heart.

She helped us transition our daughter who had never gone to preschool before into this new environment really well. She called us almost every day after school for the first month to give us updates on how she did that day. We felt that she really cared for our daughter's wellbeing. The bads are mostly around the administration here. Whenever we brought up an issue or concern, we were replied to in a curt and uncaring manner. Sort of like take it or leave it. With the school being so big it sometimes felt like we were dealing with a corporation with multiple layers of bureaucracy and obfuscation. It felt like they were more focused on painting a pretty picture for social media than actually listening to the parents. Ultimately we did leave to another school in the area and we've been happy with our decision.

My son started attending this school just a month before his 3rd bday, and on the heels of a pretty bad experience at a different preschool. I was quite nervous, because my toddler had been exhibiting some bad behavior at the other school and I was told that he was basically too hard to handle. He hadn't been being horrible at home, but he doesn't have any siblings, so I'm not able to observe him around other children too often. He is extremely high-energy, at all times, so this coupled with the feedback from the other school made me hesitant about being able to find the right fit for him. Fast forward to him being enrolled at Discovery Isle, and I just couldn't be happier! The administrative staff is great about communicating with parents about everything, making us feel included and even making sure to send emails with pictures every now and then. And I can't even tell you how happy we are with his classroom teacher - Miss Keyla. She is the best! She's the perfect fit for my son, and I'm just so thankful that she's willing to put the time and effort she does into making this experience a successful one for him. I genuinely feel lucky to have found this place.

One of the things that has impressed us most is the Montessori approach. Both of our boys were reading by the age of four, developed a genuine love of learning, and entered each new stage with confidence. They learned early math concepts like addition and are heading into elementary school well-prepared academically. We truly believe the individualized, hands-on Montessori environment helped foster their independence, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning. Equally important to us was the Christian foundation of the school. It was such a blessing to know that the values and biblical principles being taught at school aligned with what we were teaching at home. Having that consistency during their early years was incredibly meaningful for our family. As we begin a new chapter, we do so with thankful hearts. Legacy has given our children a strong academic, spiritual, and personal foundation, and we will always be grateful for the role it has played in their lives. We highly recommend Legacy Montessori Christian School to any family looking for a nurturing, Christ-centered education that truly prepares children to thrive.
