This is a very small but nice memorial park located of the Central Green in front of Fisher's City…read moreHall. It was built in 2011 and is a memorial that features a monument dedicated to those who have served in the armed forces and is the home to our annual Memorial Ceremony. Around the base of the monument you will find the logos of all the uniformed services and Fisher's Police and Fire Departments. They each lead to one of the points on the six-point star that the monument sits on. There are benches in the area for visitors to sit and reflect. The monument itself has different sized granite slabs with stars on the and the tallest one having an eagle on top of it and the inscription, "Liberty Plaza, Proclaim Liberty Throughout the Land, Unto All the Inhabitants Thereof." The monument sits in a functional fountain, which is laid upon the six point star. The city holds its annual Memorial and Veterans Day ceremonies here. There is a decent amount of free parking on streets near the Plaza and there is a parking garage nearby. This place is very well maintained and nicely done. This is a good stop to make if you are in the area, but I would probably not make it a destination stop. So, to all the veterans and public servants out there, thank you for your service.

The Town Hall in Zionsville opened in 2017. This facility is an improvement over the previous…read morelocation, which was in an old church. The Hall houses the mayor's office, town planning, fire department admin and Boone County Senior Services. The building is modern and spacious inside. Conference rooms of all sizes can be reserved for resident meetings. I have reserved the largest conference room for a Non-Profit that I belong. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable. The restrooms are large and clean. There is a nice patio area with flowers and a Thin Man statue on the east side of the facility. There is plenty of parking in their dedicated lot. The facility is fully accessible included close handicapped spaces. The Town Hall is used for several community activities including area foot races.

We moved into a house that had a contract with FE Moran. Not only were we heavily pressured by FE…read moreMoran to sign a contract as well, we were pressured by the previous homeowners. Apparently if we were to sign, the previous homeowners wouldn't be charged cancellation fees (which I've heard are not cheap). FE Moran texted relentlessly and when asked for a brochure of services offered, I was sent a shiny marketing page that had no information about their services. Not a fan. The previous homeowners maintained the security service our first month in the house. The steam from our shower set off the fire alarm. We shut the alarm off within 30 seconds. Nevertheless FE Moran gives us a call. I asked to cancel the call to the fire dept but the woman said that due to "martial law" they can't do that. Martial law has nothing to do with alarm systems. Pressure sales tactics, little information on the services provided, and no knowledge of the laws governing their business. Solid 1 star.

Noblesville police officers are no better than scam artists. Someone please explain the ethics of…read morespeeding around in unmarked unauthorized vehicles indiscernible from any civilian driver and intimidating other drivers on the road to the point of forcing them out of the lane by their erratic aggressive driving behavior and then having the audacity to issue you a speeding ticket for trying to avoid collision. Officer Ellis seems to have a pretty consistent history of this game seeing as he attempted this method twice in the span of 10 minutes, a mere 30 seconds after I pulled away and being a witness to the whole scene play out to another unsuspecting driver as it was attempted on me. I guess if you can't find anything useful to do with your power and title, you make it everyone else's problem!

While I can say very few positive things about Noblesville's government (mayor and his goons) the…read morepolice department was well-represented last night when my drivers license fell out of my pocket at the City Council meeting. Shortly after my return home, I received a call from an officer who found my license and walked up my long driveway to bring it to me. I said I'd have my husband bring me to get it, but he insisted that it was cold, and I was home. His parents raised a fine young man! I hope his superior officers see this and commend him. He is the embodiment of "Noblesville's Finest".
