Mercedes needing air in two tires!
    James D.

Bought car from CarMax in Boyton Beach two years ago. I needed air put in my tires in the dealership on Southern Blvd. First question "did I buy the car from this dealership?". When I said no they asked me to take a seat. Half an hour later I'm sitting ignored. If they can't give air to keep the car safe to drive? What good are they? Confronted the problem and they went through the motions. After they finally put air in the tires I discovered they put literally 1 lb in one tire and 2 lbs in the other. They recommended going to Mercedes to have air put in my tires. Suggesting there may be a leak. No leak. Car max boasts about service when they're selling. That's not been my experience. They can't even put air in tires properly. I drove to Costco after leaving CarMax and in 5 minutes put air in my tires! No leak! Just incompetence!

Don't buy this car it was mine the transmission is about to go!

TERRIBLE SERVICE DEPT Great customer service. please read bottom of review for explanation of photos attached. 2014 Chevrolet cruise. For 22k (after everything (15k) listing price) They had my car in the shop for about two months and I had the car for 6 days in total. I have never heard more lies than this places has told me. Me growing up quite poor having multiple cheap cars with transmission issues it is very obvious to me when the car isn't shifting properly I have had two transmissions fail on me.. As soon as I'd let off of my gas pedal the car would slip gears, they looked at it twice and said it was due to "heavy overload" which isn't true since I live in an area with 30-50 mph posted everywhere lol. On the highway was a whole different story it felt like the transmission was about to blow lol crazy to me. At car max they pretty much told me they know there's an issue but since the transmission isn't blown they couldn't do anything about it. So they were going to let me go with a car they knew would fail me within the next year or so. I had maybe 4/5 loaner cars and they were all terrible! Other than the last loaner car I had to pick up in DAVIE FL!! They had me in a Honda for a loaner car and the entire heat shield fell off of the bottom of the car like seriously? I was in Miami at the time and I hit a new patch of concrete on I-95 and it was terrible after that I had to get a new loaner. They lied to me about sending my car to a transmission specialist after I asked to see the paper trails and the work done on the car I found out they just sent it to a local mechanic. And to check the transmission they "ran the codes" and test drove it like anybody that knows about those kind of issues know more than half of the time transmission issues won't pull any codes!!! I noticed the car max in davie fl was a lot more organized and they actually gave you a sun pass for your loaner car! Royal palm on the other hand doesn't. I am now in a 2015 Toyota Camry from car max I plan on taking it to Toyota for them to inspect my car due to the issues I had with the Chevy. I dealt with a very nice salesman I forgot his name I will come back and update my review when I figure it out He helped me return my car and get a new one the same day and hopefully everything goes smooth with this car and I won't have any problems with it anytime soon! I will check back in with another review in a few months for an update.

Miles to high, interest rate too high.

That's how I found myself here on a Sunday afternoon, searching for a replacement for our Mitsubishi Outlander. We located a matching vehicle online in their yard and crossed our fingers it would still be there when we arrived. Luckily, it was! U Pull & Pay is conveniently located near Palm Beach International Airport--you'll definitely notice the planes flying overhead. They're open seven days a week, which is a huge plus. Admission to the yard is $3 per person, or $2 if you sign up for their free VIP program. Just note: no one under 16 is allowed in the yard. The staff was friendly and helpful, pointing us directly to the right row. From there, you're on your own--you do need to bring your own tools. Fortunately, the back glass on the Mitsubishi was still intact. After dodging a few rainstorms and putting in some effort, we were able to remove it successfully. We even found some interior trim pieces we needed. If you're not able to pull parts yourself, they do offer that as a service. Inside, there's a lounge area and an actual restroom--which, while not the freshest-smelling, is still better than the porta-potties you often find at similar places. They also sell inexpensive drinks (a lifesaver in the heat, since there's little shade in the yard) and even have shelves with random thrift items recovered from cars. One thing to keep in mind: they don't offer cash refunds, but with a receipt and marked part, exchanges are allowed within 30 days. Overall, I think their prices are some of the best in the area--what we paid was about half the price of LKQ next door. What could've been a costly mistake turned into a much more manageable fix thanks to U Pull & Pay.

The manager, Gabriella, personally called my father confirming she saw his email and stated our agreed-upon deal was ready. She told us to just come in, pick a color, and sign and drive. Instead, my father, my brother, and I walked into a trap. Gabriella sent out a shark-like salesman who immediately tried to push us away from our finalized agreement. When we called them out, Gabriella went into hiding and refused to come back out to face us or honor the deal. They run this place like a shady, old used car lot. This behavior is incredibly embarrassing for the Mazda brand. This dishonest location is a terrible look for a company with such a good name and reputation. Avoid Gabriella and Royal Palm Beach Mazda at all costs. Responding back to business manager. Even with your response, you're being dishonest. I did not just walk into your show. I sent an email out laying out what I'm looking to purchase what discounts I was looking at and what final price. I got a phone call from Gabriella that accepted my email and told me to come in to write the deal and make the purchase like I said you guys are wasting peoples time. It's a very bad way of doing business of trying to get people to come in and force them into a different deal. Your response absolutely proves what I'm sayin.

Shoved it into a covered carrier and had to deflate the tires to 5lbs to get it in. Car arrived with dead battery at 1AM, needed jump and all tires inflated just to move it. The car was damaged in shipping and required some repaint. The title also took weeks and many phone calls until it finally arrived. The truck also came with bad alternator, some electrical wiring issues which caused the A/C to stop working the first time we drove it. Radio had no bracket installed so it fell into the box, rear seats are all upholstered MDF where tiniest screws were used to secure them into the frame and have all come out and have to be re-drilled and secured. The turbo was not connected, thermostat housing was cracked causing overheat and requiring replacement even though the car was described as "completely restored" and "running like new." Car has been in shop twice in less than 200 miles for multiple, different repairs over $2000. Main dashboard panel was not replaced, so none of light/gauges are visible. Dennis promised replacement part- never sent. Paint was $600. Dennis would not return calls for weeks, and when I contacted Todd he promised to partially cover the above and then also went radio silent. Still waiting for a return e-mail, call or the check I was promised. Unfortunately probably going to have to go the legal route. These guys make the sale and then disavow any knowledge or responsibility for vehicles which they claim to have restored/completely inspected. Buyer beware, there are many, many far more reputable dealers to buy from.

Unethical, dishonorable and irresponsible are words I would use to describe this company…read more Dennis was my best friend until he closed the deal, then when all of his promises never materialized I called the owner Todd who just kept saying yes to me so he could get off the phone. He never followed up with any of my concerns, he obviously does not care about his customers once he has your money. I just saw after 5 months Todd responded to my review so I thought I would update this. Unfortunately Todd I can not enjoy the Defender from the first day I had it delivered because it overheats, it needed a thermostat, new radiator and a coolant flush. The wipers do not work, the defroster and heat do not work, the battery light is on because the alternator is faulty and needs to be replaced. I also have numerous shorts in the electrical system and it needs a new wiring harness. Thus far I have over $3700.00 dollars in repair bills I had to pay before I could even drive the car. I sent you the receipts and pictures but you did not reply and now your trying to save your reputation with a pathetic response on yelp. Bottom line you sold me a fresh paint job on a mechanical nightmare, thanks Todd. I regret doing business with this company and would suggest to anyone if you buy a used car from them have it checked out by an independent shop. Do not take their word for it or you will get screwed like me.
