Close by to the Police station and what I assume to be food for the working man/woman.
I had the pan seared, coated salmon fillet with lobster sauce and mashed spuds. The alternative was a suspisious Tex Mex casserole (not that authentic I guess) plus a sallad buffet and coffee.
Well the idea to coat a salmon fillet was overkill and redundant to my mind. My mind kept wondering what they were covering up with that move.
Well it was quite salty (now I don't mind salty foods so for me to make a remark is itself remarkable), the mashed spuds were homemade (if that was pulvered potatoe, then I'm a fan).
Now the interior was quite old fashioned but clean and the staff was smiling most of the time. Would I visit again? Yeah, I've had better but I'm quite sure you can find something to your liking (and it will always beat the roadside burger in freshness and nutrition). read more
