Even though she…read morewas required to process patients at light speed to "hit numbers" or whatever the right expression would be in the insurance industry, she was a caring doctor there. Like many doctors in this country, though, she had to make appointments short, and appointments were sometimes weeks out. It was frustrating for both of us. When Dr. Acher announced she was starting a new practice and it would be a concierge medicine practice, I was both confused and intrigued. "You mean I pay even MORE money on top of what I'm already paying for insurance?" I looked into it further both as a concept and as something that had been done successfully on the Eastside. At $100 per month, I decided to give it a try. She said I could phone, text, or email her any day at any time. I didn't believe it at first. But sure enough, I've texted her at night on weekends and she has responded in just a few minutes. Amazing! I don't make a habit of it because Dr. Acher has to live a life, too. My first in-office appointment wasn't even an annual physical, but she talked to me for about 40 minutes. Nothing was hurried. I never felt as if she had to rush to the next patient. I couldn't believe it. For me $8 per day is worth it. I have direct access to my GP. I feel heard and attended to. And she gets to choose how many people are in her practice, which means she can control how busy it gets. Highly recommended! I'm a believer in concierge medicine now and I was already a believer in Dr. Acher.

Most offices feel like a mill trying to get me in and out as quickly as possible so they can move on to the next patient. Vida's teams have made me feel seen and heard, which is why nearly all of my care is through them. I've seen just about every service, physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic, massage and functional medicine. All of them are amazing. I do want to give a special shout out to Dr. Adair on the functional medicine team. Over the years I have gone through some stressful health issues and she always took my mental health into account in addition to addressing my main issue. It really showed me how much she cared and how she is looking at the big picture and not just the issue I came in for. This seems like a given, that all doctors should act this way, but it really is a hard thing to find. I am very grateful that I have found it in Vida.

My issue with Vida is their billing department and lack of ANY transparency and communication. I became aware of a co-pay that I still owed almost a year after my final visit. To add "insult to injury", Vida told me, via a letter, that they would send my account to collection if I did pay within a few weeks. Up until the receipt of the letter I had NEVER received any communication from Vida about my bill. They said that they messaged, texted, and emailed me, but never took the few minutes to pick up the phone and call me. My final analysis is that the service is good, but the not worth the hassle I had to go through to clear up the bill. FYI: My wife experienced the same sloppy accounting and communication with the Kirkland facility.

I have nothing but great things to say about Natalie!…read more I have bounced back and forth between binge eating and extreme dieting for most of my adult life. When I found Natalie, I had just come off a round of extreme dieting and was looking for a more balanced look at nutrition. I had heard of Intuitive Eating in the past but had sort of dismissed it because as I told Natalie on our first call: "Clearly, your intuition is telling me to eat different things than my intuition." I worked with Natalie for about 6 months and I can say for a fact that the person I was when I met her and the person I am now are two completely different people (in the best way). I'm still a work in progress and probably always will be, but I can say with absolute certainty that I'm a better version of myself than before I met Natalie. If you have been struggling with food, if you've never experienced a life where food didn't rule you in one way or another and are reading this, I highly encourage you to reach out to Natalie. I used to practice as a DC myself and I can definitely vouch for her gift as a healer. She and her team are really warm and caring and they run a tight ship! I initially found her office because I was having severe shoulder pain and she offers cold laser therapy, which has worked well for me in the past. I started treatment with her and within about 4 months she got me to a place where I regained a significant amount of mobility in my shoulder, neck and mid back as well as reducing quite a bit of pain. When my results started to plateau she instinctively referred me to Province Ortho where I was told I have frozen shoulder, which brought me a ton of emotional relief. After discussion with the ortho I knew that the course of treatment I had chosen with Dr. H was the right thing to do. Dr. H and her team got me through the absolute worst phase of frozen shoulder without drugs, cortisone injections, etc. I learned that the "frozen phase" of the injury would have been far longer without Dr. H. Her treatment was so effective and I am incredibly grateful to her! Also, Proliance's PT department turned out to be a wonderful referral, so now I'm well on the mend. A huge thank you to Dr. H and her team! :D

I had a muscle injury and the "sports massage" I received was Gau Sha (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gua_sha). I consented because, at the time, I didn't know any better. When I asked her to stop, she told me she wasn't done yet. When asked if my muscle injury still hurt, if I said yes, she would say we need to do more and keep going, if I said no, she would say its working, I need to keep going. After revoking consent multiple times, she finally listened and stopped, but made sure to round out the visit by mocking me for being weaker than her female patients. To top it off, the X-ray order the chiropractor gave me was miswritten. When the lab told me I had to go get a new order, I politely declined and have not been back to Higher Health Spine + Sport.

Any questions/scheduling needs are addressed quickly, their billing is very transparent/affordable and my appointments are always on time. Dr. Scott Greenspahn is very knowledgeable and has helped push me to make progress with both mental and physical health in ways that I am comfortable with. He collaborates to make individualized plans with his patients and checks in on the progress that was made every single visit. He also is fun to talk to and has a great sense a humor. What more could you ask for a doctor?! I moved to Washington a couple of years ago and knew nothing about navigating medical care in a new state. Prior to finding Coho, I called SO many different practices and either did not receive a call back, was overcharged, or was seen by a doctor who did not spend any time getting to know me/didn't care about my overall health. I was frustrated and close to giving up before I found Coho. This practice provided a completely different experience and my opinion is that this is the way health care should be handled by all medial professionals. I would recommend this practice to all of my friends, family, and anyone who is looking for a doctor that actually cares.
