We were able to work with James and he was extremely helpful in every way. He was able to get our Tow baseplate installed on our jeep in no time. I would highly recommend this shop for anything. Their customer service is outstanding and they did a speedy job for us. Not only did James do an excellent job with installing the baseplate and squaring us away with the electrical, but he came out to our motorhome and helped us connect up the tow bar. He then went back inside and looked up the proper towing procedures for our particular vehicle, came back out to tell us, and then helped us get everything setup right. Lastly, he followed us for about a mile to make sure that everything was working properly. He did all of this without being asked to do so. Curtis was our service manager, and I believe he had an appointment elsewhere when we arrived, but he took care of us and ensured that we were properly taken care of with the other gentlemen at the desk, prior to him departing for his appointment (I believe we may have cause him to be late, sorry, Curtis). I am amazed at the kind of culture of service that is bred into this shop. Every single person we interacted with was the embodiment of customer service. I must say our experience was beyond just customer service, it was more like "service for their fellow man". I very rarely write reviews for places, but I absolutely felt compelled to write this. Do not hesitate to take care of your automative needs at this place.

So, I know I got hosed, just will not recommend or go back.

The good, the bad, and the fixable. **if you are selling,…read morethey don't take POAs.** Buckle up, this will be a long one. By the end of it you might think I should have given a lower rating. Well. The good was just that good. The GOOD: Jenni. Saleswoman that greeted me when my appointment was running late. She got me started on selling my car. Pictures. Information. All the technical stuff. Here is how she became the star of her dealership. Even though I wasn't here job, she freely made time for me. Small talk. Shared tales of past car buys. How she had come to Mazda. Customers she had sold to, waiting for oil changes, came up to her to catch up. Wish her well. If I need a vehicle in NC, I'd buy from her. Ladies. Tired of being treated a certain way when buying a car. You've got an advocate in Jenni. Everyone else- she's a straight shooter. The BAD: called the night before and talked to Jordan. Told him my situation and said it would be a POA sale about 5 times on a 4 min call. Asked how early I could bring it in for an appraisal the following morning and he said 0900. Ask for Rob or Jordan. I showed up at 0855. Sat with Jenni for an hour. Rob was in a scheduled begging of the month managers meeting. (No sign of Jordan) So I was scheduled to come in when a meeting was already in place. Then. Rob picked up all the information Jenni had gathered and left to another office. 20 mins later he was back, where he then introduced himself. He stated that they [dealership] doesn't accept Power of Attorney buys. He was so sorry. And by the way they wouldn't have been able to match an offer I had come in with from another car buying source. They were 2k lower. Jenni said she was sorry for not knowing about the POA. WASTE of 3 hours. The Fixable: Train everyone in the building that you don't take POAs. Have no issue with you having a policy. Just better training. Second. Train people to take better appointments. I may not be in a hurry or have a full schedule, but some customers might not enjoy waiting an hour.

Had to take it to dealer for some recall work (thankfully) on the clutch/transmission. Worked my rear off to pay off car early, however did not completely pay off because Mark owed me a sight shield and was unable to acquire one at the time of purchase and I wanted to still be under contract with him to provide this part, I felt if I paid it off he would not honor it. Mothers Day weekend 2021, car randomly stopped running. Just would not start. Had to have it towed home. Contacted Mark and the only help he would give me was the name and number of some mechanic. Contacted him, and based on the description of the issue, did not want to take the job. That's fine, because his estimate was outrageous! Had another mechanic come to the house to look at vehicle and he refused to take on the job as well due to it possibly being electrical issues and could turn into a rabbit hole...nice guy, appreciated his honesty. Fast forward to Nov 2021, finally had car towed to dealership, it was there for several months and their Master Mechanic had never seen this kind of issue (that's another story). Final payment was scheduled March 10, 2022. That is the day that Marks Auto towed my car out of the dealership with less than $300 owed. The fact that I had been hospitalized for COVID pneumonia and was out of work for almost a month meant nothing. To get the car back, Mark wants over $1k, when less than $300 was the remaining balance, on the day the final payment was due per payment schedule. Remember the sight shield? Never got that either. Car turned into a MONEY PIT, and Mark is very unprofessional, has a disgusting attitude, can be very rude and nasty - which is sad since he owns Marks Auto. He is an unfeeling sheister. And his office help rudely hung up on me. Will NEVER do business with him again.
