I can't even imagine trying to navigate this process on my own!…read more I'm an attorney myself and the green card application process for my mom would have been overwhelming, time consuming and expensive to do on my own. The attorneys (I worked with Joy and Amy) and paralegal (Ana) were all helpful, responsive and easy to work with. Although I made one in-person visit to drop some papers off, most interactions were handled via zoom, phone, email, and an online portal to securely upload documents. While not inexpensive, it was worth every penny to know the paperwork was being done correctly and USCIS wasn't going to come back with a million questions or deny the application. Every case is different and my mom's situation wasn't incredibly complex, but it took half the time we estimated. Bottom line - applying for a green card isn't an easy process, even if you're a native English speaker. There are tons of forms to fill out and documents to provide. The USCIS website is less than helpful and the process itself isn't cheap. This team knows how to make the process relatively painless and get results.

Mina and her paralegal Keisha were so helpful in guiding us through completion of all the forms we needed to file, and Mina was so helpful during the interview with the USCIS officer. The USCIS officer granted my wife permanent residency on the spot! This was in no small part due to Mina's preparing us for interview questions and assistance during the interview, as well as the strength of the application that she advised us on. She saw that my wife will make a great American permanent resident and Citizen, and gave invaluable advice on how to communicate this to USCIS. My wife and I would give her 10 stars if we could!

Mohaimina who also goes by Nina was generous to share general information freely regarding the immigration case I called about. Her consultation rate is very reasonable compared to other law firms and she provides sessions in both DC & VA. By no means did I feel obliged to pay for the general information Nina provided and she was also very clear regarding which services require a session and fee. She is knowledgeable and I think she strives to provide bona fide information to her clients. I wish her all the best and surely recommend her to anyone with an immigration case.

The kindness, encouragement, patience, and professional support offered by this team over the entire process has been invaluable for us. It is the team's detail-oriented approach, flawless document preparation, and timely hands-on help that enabled us to receive EAD, AP, and Green card approvals as expected, and the entire process to complete with less than four months. Before deciding to work with the Oliver-Zhang Law, we had contacted a few law firms, but not until after we were impressed by Rachel in a consultation could we believe that we found a representation that we can rely on. During the hour-long session, Rachel showed her deep knowledge in immigration law, addressed our questions/concerns in a simple and easy-to-understand way; the path forward was highlighted clearly and convincing. Over the course of preparation, the communication channel has been clear, and the team has always been ready to provide timely guidance and support; when we were frustrated by the challenges and delays in preparation of the required supporting documents, Rachel and Annjelika have been always available with encouragement and support. On all the major activities along the case process, guidance on what to do has always been clear, and advice on DOs and DON'Ts has been always provided in detail and timely manner. When receiving the USCIS interview notice we were kind of stressed, but the stress was soon relieved after the mock interview session, which was so well prepared, thorough, and informative. Again, we were deeply impressed by the professionalism of the lawyers who attended the training session, who provided so many valuable advice, and invaluable encouragement. Julie's presence during the USCIS Interview offering her timely support was certainly another credit to the reliable services of the law firm. Once again, we appreciate Rachel and Julie's experience and knowledge in immigration laws, and Annjelika's continuous support and always keeping things on track. We strongly recommend the immigration law representation by the law firm of Oliver-Zhang Law.

Today April 28 got a call from law office we spoke for 15 minutes about my petition and I felt very pressured to change the star rating to some thing else as she is used to of all five star rating. After our discussion, I felt that she was too expensive highest from all I spoke to for just filling two forms in CEAC and felt really ripped off. I requested her to send me data via email which she never did. I just got a email in the evening from her that she cannot process my petition. This law office was too expensive and just pressuring me to change the star rating. Well she can claim any amount she likes to charge but any one with some IQ will not retain her too expensive. I am glad I am not retaining her in any way.

Stay away from this "law firm"! Their communication is terrible. Every time you call, your only…read moreoption is to speak with customer service. I had many questions, and they always said they would pass them along to the appropriate department. I began to feel concerned right from the start. We made a significant initial payment, but they did nothing in return. Thankfully, my gut feeling prompted me to look elsewhere. They sent me a "welcome package" with "important" information and they sent them with another client's name!! Unbelievable... I requested a refund within less than a month, warning them that I would leave a negative review on every platform if I didn't receive my money back. One of the staff members assured me that there was no need to do that and that I would get my money back. I even left a comment on one of their Instagram posts, only to have it deleted within minutes. Please find a trustworthy immigration lawyer who won't take advantage of your vulnerable situation. This lawyer, Maria, seems more focused on her Instagram posts to project an image of caring, when in reality, she doesn't. Her team is unprofessional, and at one point, I could even hear a dog in the background during our conversation. While there is nothing inherently wrong with that, it highlights their lack of professionalism. I am in the process of getting my money refunded, thank goodness! I ended up doing all the work myself while they provided nothing but false hope. I can not tell you the amount of stress their lack of communication put on me. It's disgusting that they exploit our community in this way.

They've been fantastic to work with, and I recommend them without reservations. Here's some of things that make them so effective. (1) Deep understanding of the employment immigration system and the criteria for successful acceptance of your applications. They will work with you to refine your application to highlight the appropriate areas, demonstrate how they meet the required criteria, and provide a clear path for USCIS to approve the application. (2) An online portal for document management, with logins for employer and the employee. This is used to share key documents and provide feedback, allowing you to see where you are at each step. (3) Availability for answering questions and providing guidance. We have sent resumes to VisaPro for potential employees, asking them for advice on what type of visa would be appropriate. We have held detailed discussions on particular applications. We have also requested advice on employees who were leaving our firm in the middle of the process. In all cases, we have found them to be responsive and knowledgeable. (4) A clear and transparent pricing scheme. Generally, there are fixed fees for certain types of applications, with additional costs if the application goes into a second round. We've found the fees to be very reasonable. Our typical process with VisaPro with a new employee case has been (a) Upfront conversation between our firm, the employee, and lawyer (b) VisaPro tells us what documents to gather, has us fill out a matrix of job responsibilities and skills (c) VisaPro compiles the application and send it to us for review, with specific instructions on what to sign, what checks to include, etc. In cases where the USCIS returns a Request for Evidence (RFE), asking for more details, they have been explicit in advising us what information will be the most effective in making our case, and helped us create a compelling response. In one case they were even able to tap into their network and provide supporting letters from experts in the field. We typically find ourselves working with one of several attorneys supported by other staff members. This has worked well for us. The lawyer is available when needed, but a paralegal or other staff member can provide rapid or informal feedback. The current US work immigation system is complex and time consuming. Recent political trends have been making this worse. Despite this, my understanding is that VisaPro has close to 100% success rate in H1-B cap applications by their clients. We've found them to be effective shepherds for all of our employment immigration-related needs.
