We stayed at this hotel last weekend. It has been about the 3rd of the Home 2 suites we have been…read moreto, and I love that it has the suite set up.
We arrived early (from a redeye flight) and unfortunately the place was all booked up--BTS, cheer competitions, and honestly a lot of people going to tourist attractions all around, since this is literally the next set of hotels around the corner from Busch Gardens.
We ended up leaving and returning later--hung out in the lobby to use the electrical outlets and wifi. We ended up getting our room at around our original check in time (about 2pm) and found out that we had reserved a Pure Wellness room--a "Pure" allergy-friendly room with a nice air purifier with medical grade filters, hypo allergenic for the mattress and pillows, enhanced water purification for showers to remove impurities, rust, scale and chlorine to increase skin hydration. Although the filter was a bit noisy, it was nice to have the white noise sound (since we were close to a construction area and the hotel even included some ear plugs).
Given my allergies, I did not mind one bit waiting for this type of room to become available since there were only 10 at this hotel.
When we got called to get our room assignment and check in, we were given a snack bag that had a couple of waters and snacks--Diamond Elite status. Nice gesture.
I also like that the coffee/tea/hot water is available 24 hours.
When we got to our room, I actually forgot (then realized) it was set up like a suite. It had a separate bathroom and shower area, full size fridge, microwave, sink, dishwasher, mugs, plates, cups, silverware, paper towels, and personal sized coffee maker. There was also an iron, a couch , curtain to section off the 2 areas, tv with a set of drawers, desk, chair, and valet area/closet to hang our stuff. They have plenty of outlets and matching nightstands also. I also liked that the bathroom didn't have the travel sized soap, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, and lotion. Rather they had the full sized mounted ones. They also included a hair dryer too.
Honestly, the amenities were top notch. I think my major concern was that we kept leaving and returning to see about our room and when it would be ready.
They also have a gym/laundry room on the first floor, including free weights, mats, bench, multi exercise machine, an elliptical, Peloton, exercise bike and treadmill.
They had an outdoor pool, but given the huge amount of kids present, decided to pass.
The breakfast was a huge draw--waffles, bread options, syrup, toaster oven, oatmeal, cereal, fruits, and juice.
They also have an onsite sundry store for any necessities you may need to get (in a pinch).
Parking was kind of a challenge since the hotel was packed. I did like that they included the parking and gave us parking passes to park onsite.
All in all, not a fancy hotel, but they checked all the boxes and came in clutch for the weekend. If I could give half stars, this would've been a 4.5
I would definitely stay here again in the future.
