My inspection was on a 2020 model car up for sale at a dealership about 120 miles across the state line. Carinspect was able to get a local mechanic out the next day. I had tried another service I had already used, but they did not have mechanics available. Nicholas was true to the time range I was given. He looked the SUV over thoroughly, giving the facts without bias to the local business. He test drove the vehicle and provided me information in detail including a code item to be aware of that shouldn't necessarily discourage me from a decision to buy. The person that came out to look at my truck was a named Nick Collins. He was very patient and understanding as I asked several questions while he spend quite a bit of time doing a thorough inspection inside and outside of my vehicle . He took several pictures under the truck under the wheel wells, in the back front and interior, even the top of the roof.. Booked it online, paid for it upfront. Within an hour an inspector was assigned. The inspector then called me and right after called the agent at the dealership and scheduled the call. The inspection was done on the same day and I had my in depth online report, with photos and a video, that very afternoon. In general, it's a very convenient service that does the same inspection you would get anywhere else. I just started driving the car I got inspected, I will report if I find any issues that they did not point out during the inspection. It is a bit more expensive than your normal Canadian tire inspection but it is far more convenient. read more
