I can't remember how long the cremation took, but they were thoughtful in our back-and-forth communication. From me picking out his urn to the text that would be engraved on it, they were communicative and kind.

Blue Pearl came to my house and were so sweet and loving to her and came up with NOT a hospice plan but a long-term plan to balance meds/quality of life/ improvement where possible journey. They were also phenomenal in walking me through the plan and answering any questions. The vet had pointed out some concerns with her pain level and knee and asked me to get it xray-ed asap. Turns out it was bone cancer and it had spread everywhere. I contacted my primary vet at Blue Pearl and they gave me options for her and listened to my concerns...not to mention they were incredibly sympathetic to my dilemma of coming to terms of what was best for my girl in helping her not suffer. I had to let her go shortly after and they came and spent time with her and me and gave her treats and made sure she was happy and relieved. They called and checked in on me after and would chat about what an impression she made even if they short time they knew her. I can't recommend Blue Pearl enough - I would do this 1000x over because they were caring, thorough, available, and gave Leeloo the best care in the short time ahead had left. Sorry for the long sappy post but it was money well spent.

The treatment they provided him was spot on and he is doing extremely well and is a very happy puppy. We have also used champion wood on two occasions for boarding while vacationing and the care he has received has been amazing. The 1st time we left him for boarding obviously he was very skittish and nervous however on his 2nd visit he was very excited as I think he had made many new friends. The doctors and the staff are fantastic very knowledgeable and they genuinely care about your pets. She would give shots and do a brief "well check" exam. It was so nice to have a vet that was so caring and kind with our animals. She took great care of all the dogs we'd end up with (we took in strays until we could either find better homes for them or get them back to their families). She always made sure that they were in the best health they could be. She would always remember everyone's name and ask how they were doing, even if she was there for someone else. The fact that I still remember what what excellent care she provided to us and our animals 15 years later should certain tell you something about Karen Bookout. She was, hands down, the best vet we have ever had. I miss having her nearby!

First let me be clear. I own a NERVOUS Dog. He is very attached, and does not trust males of any…read morekind. During the height of the pandemic in 2020, I decided my dog should have a primary Veterinarian. We usually visit Snap clinic but they only have limited services. I ended up going to a vet walking distance from our house and since the first visit Lego had issues with that clinic. To the point he had to be sedated after struggling to examine him for two hours. He was also prescribed Gabapentin to help relax him before any veterinary visit(which I did administer before coming here). I decided to check out Dr.Wulf's office since my mom and sister have had a good impression of this place. When we arrived, I explained Lego's experience at his previous Doctors office which did not impede Dr. Wulf to see him. Dr. Wulf was very calm and almost nonchalant so much so that Lego behaved so pleasantly. He drew blood, gave vaccinations, examined his entire body and Lego stayed put and cooperated with the doctor without any assistance. Needless to say, I think we have finally found a primary care doctor and will be scheduling Legos long needed dental cleaning. If you live in Houston, even if its a drive for you I suggest you check this place out. They also offer a discount on Wednesdays and payment plans thru care credit!

They are not upfront with their prices and lie to justify them…read more Prior to booking I asked how much an anal gland expression was, and I was told it was $40. Coming in, they took my cat for 5 minutes and said they couldn't express anything. They proceed to say that the vet needed to talk to me, and I didn't understand why since I had come in just for the anal gland expression. The vet just pet him and asked me a couple questions about why I asked for an anal gland expression, to which I explain, and she just finished up the 5 minute conversation by sayin maybe my cat would benefit from deworming. My cat is 1 year old, indoors, no contact with other pets and had a physical exam done less than 3 months prior. A 15 min vet visit that should have been just an anal gland expression turned out to be a physical exam I had not approved with a $175 bill? They justified by saying EVERY procedure must be done with a physical exam, which is a lie because in the morning I took my other cat to exchange a bandage from his surgery and I was charged $40 for the bandage but no physical exam.
