Caring Hands does not respect your privacy. Grandmas first nurse "J", did not like waiting for her calls to be returned, so she began showing up for appointments unannounced and unscheduled. On one occasion she pushed her way into the door past a family member uninvited. We overlooked this since Grandma wanted home care. While she's on leave, a new nurse stepped in "S". She made it clear she did not approve of the clients grandson being a homeschool student. Grandma is so proud of her participation with his lessons. We are an accredited home school for a special needs student who cannot be accommodated by our local schools. Nurse "S" proudly informed us her family works for the local district, who then began making aggressive phone calls to our family the next day, based on gossip from the nurse who had only just met Grandma briefly. This is what's called a "whisper campaign". It's not even legal for the district to interfere with another accredited school in that way, so the state has stepped in. More importantly, Grandama feels totally violated, and no longer feels safe receiving home care. read more
