Curriculum is Abeka. The teachers do not use all components. Extracurricular offerings vary year to year and also mid-year - seem to struggle with staffing. Sports are limited and begin in middle school. No science labs. No library. Teachers rely on youtube videos for "brain breaks", "down-time" and "enrichment". What my children have learned is impressive, but how they learn, and how much they love school is the reason I so highly recommend Little Sprouts. The teachers are loving and creative. They were so caring with my daughter that needed an extra hand. They were very involved with our IEP process, and gave a tremendous amount of support both in and outside of the classroom. Even after we moved onto elementary school, the staff still provided additional support to my daughter. My child attended this school for quite some time. To say that they need an improvement and to step…read moreup their game is an understatement. Lunch is provided only Monday - Thursday. Friday you are required to pack. They are constantly changing the classroom that your child is in (also changing the teacher) which becomes very confusing, not only for the child but for the parent as well. You never know where to drop off or pick up your child because again, they are switching rooms way too much. When you pick up your child, you can never find them, you must also search each room for their coat and belongings because NO ONE has any idea where they are!! And they never bother to help find them either. The teachers do not teach a meaningful curriculum, which is not their fault but I still needed to point out. The preschool program does not start until age 4, which only gives the child a year to learn the necessities they need before kindergarten. Which I feel is not enough time at all. In the time that my child attended here, I noticed no difference in his knowledge. In fact, I noticed that his behavior continued to get worse. Maybe due to the fact that there is no consistency in this school, or maybe the fact that he continued to get into trouble for petty things. ( for example, I received a Letter home that he had a bad day for trying to kiss a friend, and because he dropped a cookie and ate it off the floor). Typical 3 year old behavior. I complained at one point because he continued to come up with poopy underwear and no one would notice and change him (even though he stunk) and no one would help him to wipe to prevent this issue. Literally THE NEXT WEEK after I complained, I was bombarded with a meeting when I walked in for pickup stating that my child's behavior has been out of control for months and was basically given no choice by the owner and director but to get my child tested for special needs. What!?!? I was confused as to why his behavior WAS NEVER mentioned before. I can not tell you how much my son has improved since LEAVING this school. He knows his ABC's, he can count to 10 in Spanish, his behavior has improved DRAMATICALLY, he even comes home singing songs that he learned. The best thing about this school was our last day and never having to come back!!!! There are a few good teachers, but the director Ms. Wally and owner Ms. Liz just make this place hell in a hand basket. NOT the jack and Jill school that it used to be when I attended as a child! UPDATE: there was never a five star review and no one ever tried to "help" my child. If you consider forcing us to get him tested for special needs because he doesn't "behave like a normal three year old" (even though his pediatrician, special needs teacher that we spoke to, and multiple friends and family members said he is completely normal and actually advanced for his age!!) and having him come home crying everyday because his teacher was "mean to him" and he got in trouble for kissing a friend or eating the cookie off the floor that he dropped, if you consider that to be "helping him", then maybe you are the one that needs to be tested! This school helped with nothing but making our lives a nightmare for the last few months. I wish I had listened to the previous employee who warned me not to send my child here. Just beware!!

Both my children have attended for the past 5-6 years, and every single year has reinforced why we chose this school in the first place. From the moment you walk in, you can feel that this is a place built around genuine care for children -- not just a place that watches them, but one that truly loves and nurtures them. The teachers are, without exaggeration, incredible. They are patient, warm, endlessly encouraging, and clearly love what they do. Our kids have always come home excited to talk about their day, which says a lot about how engaged and happy they feel in the classroom. Every teacher we've encountered over the years has treated our children as individuals, celebrating their personalities and helping them grow at their own pace. Academically and developmentally, the program is exceptionally well-rounded. The kids are exposed to a wonderful mix of cultural activities, practical life skills, and physical education, all woven into a curriculum that keeps them engaged and constantly learning. They even take French lessons, which has been such a lovely bonus and has sparked genuine curiosity in our kids about language and other cultures. The school also puts on the most adorable productions -- dance recitals, music performances -- and you can tell real time and heart goes into preparing the kids for these events. It's clear the staff wants every child to feel proud and included, regardless of skill level. It has been fun to see my children during the first one to the last one and see how they come out of their shell more too. Physical activity and outdoor time are also a big priority. The kids get to play outside frequently, including daily time outside to the nearby park, which gives them plenty of fresh air, movement, and unstructured play time -- something we really value. One thing that stands out most to us also is how seriously the school takes safety and security. Every policy and procedure feels thoughtfully designed with the children's well-being in mind, from secure drop-off and pick-up protocols to how the classrooms and outdoor spaces are supervised. As a parent, it's reassuring to know that safety isn't an afterthought here -- it's built into everything they do. This has been especially meaningful for us because our son has a food allergy. The school has been outstanding in how they manage it -- from clear communication with staff, to careful attention during snack and lunch times, to making sure substitute teachers and staff are all aware and prepared. We've never once felt anxious dropping him off, which is not something we can say about every environment he's been in. On top of all of this, communication from Mrs. Elena has been excellent throughout our entire experience. Whether it's daily updates, event reminders, or larger updates about policies or schedules, we've always felt informed and included as parents. Overall, this school has played such a meaningful role in our children's early years. I felt compelled to write this review, which I don't do often, given how awesome this school and teachers are! We are endlessly grateful for the teachers and Mrs. Elena (and Ken) for an incredible school they've built, and we would recommend this school without hesitation to any family looking for a nurturing, safe, and enriching environment for their children.
