Having no experience with any of this we put our trust in the treatment facility to guide him in the right direction. Humble Beginnings is very client focused. They helped my son with finding his root issues and have given him the guidance to be able to correct his behavior. The care of the staff is unbelievable, they are kind, knowledgeable, caring and definitely can relate to their patients. From the moment I stepped into their office I knew my son was in the right hands. They genuinely want to help. The program they have at Humble Beginnings is amazing as well as the attention that they give to the families. My son continues to go there and is making great strides in his recovery. Dr. Larry has never produced any such stories for my best friend (who also sees him) and me. He's in his mid 40s, but comes off as young and hip (though not in the "trying too hard" sort of way.) If you feel like you need someone to talk with and you're a hip 20 something (in other words someone who is on this site, hence reading this), I strongly suggest checking him out. Oh, and he's unbelievably attentive. If he knows you're going through a crisis, he'll actually call you sometimes. For instance, I have a very important job interview this Thursday and I have a strong feeling I'm going to get a call from him Friday morning. It's how he rolls. Check him out!

I was promised by my therapist guided imagery as a part of my service plan but that never occurred. Several appointments were cancelled without an explanation. In addition when I complained to the managing supervisor I was referred back to the counselor to express complaints. The managing supervisor failed to refer me to another therapist and my direct counselor failed to refer to a new counselor. I continuously expressed the service plan that I required for care but the therapist continues to play mind games with me and circle around the plan for care. I would not recommend this place to people who are searching for healing and wholeness. These people are a joke and do not take their patients care seriously. On top of that my counselor fails to provide my medical doctor with my records. My original request for this items dates back to March 2017. Give me a break with the excuses!

Horrible all around. I had one APN change my appointment time without notice then they tried to…read morecharge me for a missed appointment. I had a receptionist tell me the wrong day for an appointment and there was no way to contact anyone after hours who could help. The after hours number I called told me I had the wrong number and had no clue what I was talking about. Did they pay me for my lost time? lol of course not, they don't care about their patients time. Every appointment starts late and with zero notification so you sit there wondering if there was another "mistake." Billing is horrible. They call you and say you owe money when the portal shows nothing is owed. Then after being caught up the portal stopped charging me until a -$75 balance was posted only to find out that was another mistake and I actually owed $105. Complete incompetency, find another provider.
