The patio seating area is delightful!

Coffee is amazing, so is the food! You can tell they use real quality ingredients. Team is extremely helpful and friendly. Interior and exterior are spotless. Decor is on point for a beach store. It's also locally owned and operated.

The only downside honestly is the service. I had to explain multiple times how I wanted the sandwich made with the toppings side by side and the person taking the order just wasn't really understanding what I was asking for. Even after explaining it again, it still wasn't clicking, which was frustrating. I've noticed this pretty much every time we come here. The staff never really seems approachable or friendly and the customer service could definitely improve, especially when tips are being requested. A smile and better communication would honestly make such a huge difference because the food is genuinely great. We also tried the matcha latte for the first time, and unfortunately it wasn't good at all. Maybe it's new, but it definitely needs some improvement. Overall, we still love coming here because the food keeps us coming back, but the service has consistently been lacking. Realistically the service is probably a 3, but because we love the place and the food so much, I'll still give it a 4.

A Die-Hard Bostonian's Confession: These Bagels Are Wicked Good (Even If It Pains Me to Admit NY…read moreDoes Something Right) Listen, I'm a Boston boy through and through--born and raised in the shadow of Fenway, bleeding Red Sox red, Bruins black and gold, Celtics green, and Pats whatever colors they're rocking these days. I hate the Yankees with a passion that runs deeper than the Charles River. Don't get me started on the Giants, Jets, or Knicks either--those teams are pure evil in my book. New York can keep their overrated pizza and their traffic; I'll take Dunkin' and clam chowdah any day. But damn it, these bagels at Bella's Bakes Cakes and Bagels on Central Avenue in St. Pete forced me to eat my words (along with a sausage, egg and cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel ). I stumbled in here on a quick drive from St. Pete Beach back to the other Florida coast, skeptical as hell because they boast "authentic NY-style" bagels. Figured it'd be another Florida flop. Nope. One bite--that perfect crisp exterior cracking into a chewy, dense interior--and I was transported straight back to my Northeast roots. Suddenly I'm dodging traffic on Storrow Drive, grabbing a quick bagel before work at some hole-in-the-wall in Brookline or Allston. It was transformative, wicked transformative. Every mouthful brought floods of home: the bagel reminding me of Sunday mornings with the family. The place is cozy, family-owned, with super friendly staff who don't give you that big-city attitude. Fresh-baked daily, real deal boiled-then-baked bagels--no fluffy imposters here. The breakfast sandwich held up like a champ. Look, it kills me to say this, but Bella's has nailed the New York bagel better than most spots up north these days. If you're a fellow New England exile missing that true taste of home--or just want the best bagels in the Tampa Bay area--get over here. I'll be back, grudgingly admitting defeat one bite at a time. Five stars, no question. Go Sox... but props where props are due.

DISAPPOINTING…read more.. But not for the reasons you'd normally think. After coming here on the last day of my trip to the area and having one of their many customizable bagel sandwiches, I realized that I had one of the best bagel sandwiches i've ever had in my life! Perhaps even the best! And that isn't an exaggeration in the slightest. The problem was that disappointment soon settled in after when I also realized that i'd likely NEVER have a bagel sandwich as good as this when I got back home. *sigh Anyways, it was FANTASTIC while it lasted. Can't wait to come back!

If you're craving a bagel, Bagel Babe is a must!…read more I love the location of Bagel Babe. It's quietly located in the Warehouse Arts District, specifically off the Pinellas Trail- which adds to the artsy vibe of the place. The concept was a little bit confusing to me at first (not shocking tbh), but after a couple of minutes, I understood. Bagel Babe is located inside of FoodieLabs which is sort of a 'test kitchen' concept. The restaurant is cooperated by about six different restaurants. You order on a kiosk and then get the food brought out to you by a staff member. I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese on a plain bagel and O M G- it was delicious. It was New York style- crunchy and salty on the outside and then warm, chewy and soft on the inside. The cheese:bread:sausage:egg ratio was impeccable- the flavor was there and it was satisfying. I loved the energy of Bagel Babe and I would love to see FoodieLabs thrive- I see this place thriving in the near future- such a fun concept with delicious food.

I stopped in for "just a coffee" and somehow left with: a California Egg & Cheese on ciabatta, a spinach-feta croissant, hash browns, and enough caffeine to hear colors. First off, whoever created the Breakfast Club sandwich deserves their own holiday. Egg, turkey, bacon, American cheese, tomato on buttered sourdough?? That's not breakfast. That's therapy with a pickle spear. And the California Egg & Cheese with guacamole? Absolutely disrespectful. I took one bite and immediately started nodding like I understood cryptocurrency. Then came the Mozzarella Basil Avocado Toast, which sounds like something a yoga instructor orders after saying "I'm really trying to stay balanced lately." Meanwhile I added bacon because balance is important. Also... the menu saying breakfast is served all day is one of the most emotionally supportive things I've seen in years. Nothing heals a rough afternoon quite like ordering eggs at 2:47 PM while pretending your life is together. The coffee? Dangerous. I now understand why the place is called Addicted to the Bean because after one iced coffee I suddenly: answered emails, cleaned my car, forgave my enemies, and briefly considered running for public office. The vibes are immaculate too. Chill local coffee shop energy where everyone either: 1. works remotely, 2. owns a golden retriever, or 3. just came in for a bagel and accidentally stayed two hours. Shoutout to the cranberry pecan chicken salad too. Whoever decided chicken salad needed cranberries and pecans was clearly operating on a higher intellectual plane than the rest of us. And the prices?? In this economy?? I was expecting the avocado toast alone to require a small down payment. Final thoughts: If you live on Isla and haven't been here yet, what are you even doing? This place has: elite breakfast sandwiches, solid lunch options, fresh pastries, coffee strong enough to restart your ancestry, and enough cozy energy to make you briefly believe you could become "a morning person." 10/10. I came for caffeine and left spiritually rebuilt.

I ordered a Cafe latte add vanilla and vanilla cold foam. I also ordered a croissant breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg and cheddar and paid extra for 2 slices of bacon. A side of hashbrown. Was the food edible? Yes however the croissant was stale, smoothed and chewy. The bacon was non existent just a few tiny crumbles. The egg was fine and ample cheddar but the avocado.... Oh the avocado. So gross. It had that flavor once an avocado has passed it's prime... Like paste yuck. Had to scrape any evidence of it off my sandwich. The hash brown was a wedge, not hot, not crispy, more like a sponge. Zero flavor. The Cafe latte.... Not a Cafe latte. Best I could tell us perhaps there is coffe in there somewhere but there is so much vanilla sweetner it's Un drinkable that was zero foam I paid extra for. Honestly I won't come her again

Another party that had a reservation to sit outside with seated and we left on the curb to wait for a little while. Which was OK, but ultimately we were taken inside to sit indoors. Our server was so nice. We were a party of 9, very large group and she did a great job. For being voted best breakfast in St Pete Beach I felt like the menu was somewhat limited. The menu does not state they have specialty coffee but when I ask, they did so that was a great surprise. I got eggs Benedict. It was very tasty. The grits were very good too. All in all, I think it was a good experience, giving it a four star only because of how stressed and curt the manager was with our group initially. If I could give them a 4 1/2 stars I would.
