Why do the grocery stores around here do that? - no organic milk displayed with the conventional milk. You have to walk into the worst area of the store (you know, that little half-aisle where 2 aisles converge) to get any organic products. - congestion at the front of the store. If there are more than 2 customers in line, forget about being able to get around to continue your shopping. - front doors are too small. Either dedicate one as IN and the other OUT, or widen the doors. I always feel like I'm pushing past someone, or they, me. - the prices are not great. Add in the fact that the local paper gets jack for coupons, and I'm not saving nearly as much money as I'd like. Let me say that I love Grand Forks. But, as someone who has lived in big cities and small towns around the country, Grand Forks has very poor choices for buying groceries. Then I sat there, and no one came for 20 minutes. There's no excuse for this; they weren't busy. I went to the till and said, I want to pay for my diet coke; I am leaving. Not a single waitperson came to my table. It was already 2:05, and I needed to eat lunch before my daughter's school was dismissed. The kid at the till was useless; he didn't give me an explanation.
