This cute little co-op is smack in the center of Cambridge. They have a nice sized parking lot with…read morea coffee shop and bookstore inside along with the food. Since COVID-19, they are now requiring masks in order for you to enter. When I visited, everyone complied. The prices here vary. Sometimes an item will be vastly cheaper than from somewhere else and others will be much more expensive. But, this is a co-op so whatever you pay will go back to local farmers and product owners so I think it's worth it either way. There aren't a ton of aisles but they have a relatively good freezer section (and even had a sale for 2/$7 Ben and Jerry's ice cream!). Their coffee shop is really cute too. I didn't go inside the book store but it's right next to the coffee shop which also offers snacks and has a small sitting area for you to eat a snack or finish your coffee.

After politely bringing the mistake to their attention, I was met with an unprofessional attitude. While waiting for my order to be corrected, I was also asked to leave a tip. I generally have no issue tipping for good service, but it felt inappropriate to be asked for a tip after receiving the wrong order and experiencing poor customer and I normally don't make reviews but I've only had negative experiences here.

But the service is above and beyond. Your hot beverage and water is never empty. Your food comes quickly and you don't have to wait for your check. My first visit was mid morning on a weekday so I wasn't sure how typical it was. My second time was right in the middle of the Sunday rush. They were slammed, but were just as attentive. If I come back to to Cambridge this will be my breakfast spot.

Not only are clean and spacious, but the handicapped restroom, at least the women's, has a door that opens to the outside. If you have ever taken a wheelchair bound relative to the restroom, you know why that is a game changer. The door also has a small privacy strip on it that prevents unwanted views through the gap between the door and the wall. There are many more positives about this restaurant (friendly staff, uplifting music, kids eat free on Tuesdays etc), but I think this is important to highlight, too.
