Initially, I dealt with Amy, who is probably the most cheerful, customer service oriented person on the planet . Well organized, excellent communication and beyond knowledgeable. Yes, I looked at other places, but I decided to go with this company because the customer service was outstanding and the product line and cost associated were competitive with the other area businesses. I have nothing but positive and cheerful accolades from start to finish on two separate occasions, several years apart. Can you imagine putting shutters and beautiful blinds all through your home and then eight years later you buy another place and you called the same business and it just as good, if not better? That was my experience. This is a family owned and operated business so you are getting people that actually have perfected this craft and you also get to call and speak to a human being who is actively involved in this process Two experiences, several years apart, and still top-notch and absolutely incredible. The first job had over a dozen custom shutters put in to several different windows. The second job was several different shutters, one that had to be customized due to the kitchen sink and faucet weird location combination that they managed to work around perfectly. They also added a wonderful rollup shade that has worked perfectly. I'm a wife and a mother and I have very hectic job and so I don't like to waste my time or my money. I also don't appreciate it when people hop on yelp just to fabricate stories because they're demanding or lack proper communication skills, but that is neither here nor there. I can tell you that for two times, many years apart, the products are incredible, the communication is ideal, and the service is second to none.

Later on he came over with LED tape and attached that to the awning. it was extremely bright and had only 2 settings, way too bright, and excruciatingly bright. We have never been able to use the lighting at all. Also the awning was installed so low that when it is open guests often hit their heads on it. both of these problems are very difficult to get past and we attempted many many times to contact Mike without a response. we would leave messages with Hailey (his daughter) but he never called us back. the best advice I can give is AVOID THIS COMPANY

His workers found that our roof had some loose and cracked tiles, and they repaired them for free. No charge for the estimate or the work. We were shocked and relieved since another vendor quoted us over $600 for fixing the tiles, and then another $4400 for additional work he said we needed. A total of over $5,000. David said we didn't need the extra work the other vendor suggested and had his men check to make sure. We highly recommend DC roofing for his integrity and customer service. All our friends and neighbors who recommended him had told us he was a fair and honest guy. We learned from our experience that he lives up to this reputation.
