(Beautiful day might be the answer) The third time we were turned away we decided not to go back. I'm not sure if it's new restaurant staff or new management but I miss going bc the food is great. The salmon bites were my first choice. They were delish! Salmon was grilled perfectly with a nice seasoning. It paired really well with the serving sauce. My other selection was from the special menu. It was a crab salad tower served with tortilla chips. This dish was perfect for the hot day. The components of the tower worked so well together. It was light, filling and refreshing. I have to say I was disappointed with the cinnamon arancini dessert. The arancini were okay but I did not like the sauce served with it. It added nothing to the dish. Oh well, two out of three isn't bad :) I enjoyed my visit and will not hesitate to visit again.

Since the loft was out of the way, there was no opportunity for the server to pop in to check on us, and twice I had to walk downstairs to flag down someone for service. The only exception to the service was the bus boy with the water who was wonderfully diligent at keeping our glasses filled. My son, his wife and two daughters and I went for an early dinner. The service was attentive and quick! I ordered the standby I've always loved there- the wings! As delicious as I remember and oh that homemade blue cheese!! So great!! I ordered a beef sandwich that came on a toasted bun with the requested creamy horseradish sauce. It also came with au jus to dip. I think it was top round? The au jus was extremely salty and I could not use it at all- the creamy horseradish spread saved the day! Our server was friendly and efficient and checked up on us numerous times. Why 4 stars? Well there was no toilet paper in the ladies room- that's a big drawback. I brought it to the servers attention and it was immediately fixed. I would definitely come here more often, but I have since moved away. They feature a pasta night which sounds great! When we politely pointed out the second mistake, his response felt impatient and dismissive, which made the experience uncomfortable. We were also charged $3.50 for a kids' apple juice, which felt quite overpriced. It's a shame because I do think the owners are genuinely trying hard to build a small business and cater to families. However, due to today's service experience, we unfortunately won't be returning.
