Some tables inside and a big pavilion outside. The menu has a lot of options and they have great specials. I feel the price was good. All of the meats were great! So flavorful and tender. The jalapeño sausage was also very good. The sides were not the plain old salads and I assume made in-house. The potato salad sweet and creamy. The slaw has apple slivers in it to give it a sweet crunch. The beans had a little spice to them. The bread pudding is good with no shortage on sweetness.

It was one of those days where you would normally just want to stay inside with a blanket and curl up in a chair. What I was looking for at lunch was somewhere that would make me feel welcome and give off a cozy feeling. My sister had gotten several birthday cakes from Ally which the whole family had loved, so the bar was pretty high. The restaurant is located on the way to Walker's Bluff Casino and is in the General Store. This is a bit off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. The inside of the restaurant is large and there is ample seating even for large groups. Given she started with a Bake Shop, it should be no surprise that there is a host of delicious baked good to choose from. My two kids settled on the cakepops, but there were also cookies, cupcakes and other items to pick from. For entrees you could choose from a good selection of sandwiches, salads, and soups. Everything we got was fantastic, and the portions were large. You could get fountain drinks and they also had a great selection of coffees. Overall I really enjoyed going to Ally's Bake Shop. It was a great choice by my sister, and I will be coming back again in the future.

Parking is right in front. They have plenty of seating inside and on the patio, as well as the ability to host larger groups. They have a variety of coffees, baked goods, brunch is served all day, and small bites consisting of sandwiches and salads. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. I had the chicken quesadillas, which are served with sour cream, salsa, and guacamole. They were very good. My husband had the turkey chipotle sandwich, and fried jalapeño cheddar bites. The sandwich was stacked with ingredients and he said it was delicious. The jalapeño cheddar bites are served with ranch, and they were also good. For dessert we each ordered a cookie. He enjoyed the stuffed red velvet while I had a chocolate chip cookie sandwich. The service was quick. The food was good. The desserts were very good. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu!

We visited Izumi and ordered two different ramen dishes. My partner had the crispy chicken ramen,…read moreand the chicken itself was excellent , crispy, well-seasoned, and clearly prepared with care. He felt his bowl was okay overall. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen, which included corn, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and fish cake. While the toppings were plentiful, many of them , including the soy-marinated egg, were settled at the bottom of the bowl, so we found ourselves fishing through the broth to find them. The egg was fully cooked rather than the softer, jammy style often associated with ramen. The broth leaned more creamy and soy-forward than the pork-based tonkotsu flavor I'm used to, and the chashu pork belly was quite firm instead of tender. Izumi is a very small cozy space with limited seating, and during our lunch there was a steady stream of takeout orders. At least 30 people came in to pick up food while we were there. So it's clearly a popular spot. Based on my experience with the ramen, it didn't quite match what I personally look for, but I'd be open to trying it again in the future, as others clearly enjoy it.

The serving size is quite large and the price was more than fair. Coming from a big city where everything cost a fortune, this was a nice treat on many levels. Service was great and fast. We weren't rushed as we read each description to decide. The menu is much more extensive than just scoops of ice cream. Truly something to satisfy everyone. The store is way bigger than I expected. We decided to stop here as we were looking for a local small town place with something sweet and it didn't disappoint. From the outside it looked like an average storefront, but once inside, it's so much more. There is ample seating with cute tables. Board games and some video games in the larger back room. There is also clean restrooms. So cute and so good! Definitely a place to enjoy leisurely and hang out with friends/family. Perfectly located on the main street.

It was Saturday night and the area was BUSY. I asked for a Monte Cristo without ham (cause red meat). Monte Cristos are one of my FAVORITE food items. The owner said she couldn't because of the pre-made situation. It was hard to hear, but she made sure it was ok for me to still have it and was sincere. This says a lot about her character -- which often shows up in other areas of business (ie, cleanliness, quality). I was able to pull the ham off easily because it was neatly assembled, which was GREAT! Made it so easy. Sandwich was fantastic, a flavor I remember. And consistent to a previous one I had years from before from Haute Wheels. Service was FAST, and made fresh! Just an overall stellar experience. It was so delicious I kept talking about it after I got home. Looking forward to the next time I can visit this truck! Thank you!!
