Be prepared to find a long line at the concession stand. It's not as bad as Montehiedra, but try and arrive early to you screening to avoid a slow moving line.

You can choose to watch the movie in English, Spanish or English with Spanish subtitles which is pretty cool. Tickets are about $7 or $4.50 for students for regular movies but they also offer 3D, IMAX and 4DX. Popcorn, food, drinks and snacks are so much cheaper than in the states making the experience so much better. The seats were very comfy and the bathrooms very clean as well as the theater in general. Compramos comida y picaderas muy buenas pero al momento de ir a la sala de la película Mision Imposible el caballero que recibe los visitantes en el segundo piso frente a la escalera eléctrica nos ubicó en una sala errónea. Le preguntamos al caballero cual era nuestra sala y el verbalizo " su sala es esa que esta ahí al frente", y a esa fue a la que fuimos, inclusive nos vio entrar a la sala porque queda frente a él. Entramos a la sala y nos acomodamos en los asientos asignados E1, E2 y E3. Media hora de haber comenzado la película llegan unas personas indicando que ellos iban en esos asientos. A a los 5 minutos llega una empleada del cine y nos saca de la película hacia el lobby del cine de manera bochornosa para decirnos que esa no era nuestra película de cine que era otra que estaba ubicada en otro lado. En vez de dejarnos sentar en otros asientos de la película que ya estábamos viendo nos dijeron que nos fuéramos a la sala que nos tocaba cuando la que nos tocaba ya tenía más de 1 hora de haber empezado. Al final mi familiar pidió la devolución del dinero ya que pasamos tremendo bochorno debido a una situación que no fue culpa de nosotras si no del empleado que nos asigno la sala errónea y de la falta de organización. Por otra parte también se habló con el gerente del turno el cual no fue nada empatico y nos dijo que esos errores ocurren de vez en cuando porque dis que las salas están cercas y las personas se confunden. El gerente no nos ofreció ni una disculpa y tomó en forma de broma lo sucedido con comentarios fuera de lugar. Al final cuando nos devolvieron el dinero cuando nos íbamos todos los empleados estaba haciendo comentarios entre ellos y burlándose de nosotras y riéndose y mofandose de nosotras. Lo que pudo haber sido una experiencia bonita y tranquila con mis tías se volvió una muy mala y bochornosa experiencia. Nos sentimos humilladas por las risas y la burla que el equipo de trabajo de ese turno nos dio al irnos molestas. No importa lo fancy que sean, el trato es mil veces mejor en otros cines que este cuando se supone que no sea asi. No lo recomiendo a nadie, no saben tomar responsabilidad por sus errores, se colgaron en solución de problemas y no saben ni ofrecer una simple disculpa.​ Muy lamentable ya que era mi primera vez visitando ese cine y mi tía esta en PR de visita y nos tuvimos que llevar esa mala experiencia. After purchasing your ticket, take the escalator up to the theater and the Cinema Café. Before Caribbean Cinemas introduced their VIP Cinemas (in San Patricio Plaza and Distrito T-Mobile), this was the theater to go to with the comfortable leather seats, beer and wine, and the gourmet food options. Depending on who you are dating, this is a good place for a date. Same thing for couples with kids. This will provide a nice escape. Theater validates parking. I believe you end up paying a $4 flat fee instead of the regular hourly rate. Also, the Popular Center building has easy access to the Hato Rey train station, in case you live or are staying near a station. Make sure to confirm the time of the last train if you plan on catching the last show.

To top it off, you can have your food delivered to you while you're in your seat in the theater, if you really have to be waited upon.

Overall, I've always liked this cinema, but it just never stood out from the others in San Juan and Guaynabo. Add to it that it was the farthest from me and it became my fourth choice. Since then, it has undergone several upgrades. One of them is the 4DX room, where the seats move around and you get several special effects thrown at you during the movie. Just like for some rides at theme rides. My wife and I decided to check it out when we saw Top Gun: Maverick. Overall, it was fun. It helped that the movie was also fun. However, it's not something I think I'll do again. It's one thing for a short ride, but for a feature length film it's a bit too much and gets old. Again, this is a nice cinema. The staff does a good job at keeping it clean and ordered. However, unless the movie I want to watch is only screening here or I decide to give 4DX another shot, it'll still be the 4th or 5th choice.
