I forgot to write an update when I returned in 2019 and again in 2022 on our trip back to Miamk when COVID seemed to have calmed down. This is still a beautiful, comfortable, and warm place not only to buy cigars but to relax and smoke them. In 2019, when I returned, the owner, Alan, remembered me and that I bought a large table lighter for my uncle from him a year earlier. He kindly asked about my uncle and if the lighter was still in good working order. That if it wasn't to bring it to him, he'd fix it or replace it. I spent maybe another $300 that day buying a table cutter and sticks for my trip. During both visits in 2019 and 2022, I had enough time during those short weekends to sit and relax with a cigar in their lounge, and I met some nice and interesting folks. The selection, even after COVID, is still exceptional. I don't think there was I stick I wanted Alan didn't have. The usual lounge has giant sofas, while comfortable, sometimes awkward to sit in. I visit 50 stores a year, this shop is in a class by itself. A destination location for many in the boutique world. Cigar stores are like clubhouses, with well established rules and etiquette. There is a learning curve for each. It's the best boutique cigar store in Miami, hands down. Espinosa, BLK WKS, Illusione, Cavalier, HVC, Drew Estate, Tatuaje and Viaje, all available here. Zero customer service, disorganized and unprofessional. A group of us were in the shop in the mid afternoon, no one else was in the place except the employee. Suddenly, a man walks in and shouts out you are in my seat. Joking we said man there are four of us! He repeated very strenuously, I'm the owner and you are in my seat. We realized that he was not joking so we got up and walked out. The seat is not special looking nor in a particular location. It looks like any other seat in the place. He was rude and unprofessional. I don't know how he can stay in business acting like that. read more

When I moved here from Chicago a lot of people were jealous of how many awesome cigar shops I would find. What most people don't know is a lot of shops in Miami are for tourists who will pay tourist prices for sub-premium cigars. Well at Caribbean Cigars, you will find a truly boutique shop. Heading to Caribbean the drive is fairly easy and it is in a nice strip mall with plenty of late night food options nearby and a barber, so the location is pretty clutch to grab a smoke and then run some errands if you've got to. I headed here on the invitation of a friend and I don't regret it one iota! The selection here is true boutique, a step into Viaje, Tatuaje, Padron, Fuente, Black Label Trading Company, Caldwell, Espinosa, Crowned Heads, RoMaCraft and plenty of other cigars. If Cohiba Red Dot is your thing then go for it, but you will find a truly boutique shop. - Free wifi - Beverage vending machine - Coffee - Electrical outlets - Leather chairs - Amazon Fire TV and cable - Tables to eat or do work on That's all before you even get into the clientele. Knowledgeable cigar people go here because they know the selection is second to none. I have met cigar sales reps, brokers, blenders, and plenty of industry people flock here because of what's carried. The average customer here knows plenty about cigars so it is refreshing to geek out about cigars. Now if you smoke Black & Milds that's allowed here too so there is no snobbery here. I recently moved back to Miami and wanted to stock up on cigars because in this city I finally have people to smoke with. Checked out Caribbean Cigars after finding out that my old regular shop closed in the 2 years I was away. Found that they have a tremendous selection of fine cigars. They even have cigars that are hard to find in much bigger shops. The owner, Allan, seems like a great guy that runs the shop as a passion of his. I bought a humidor today, after discovering that mine broke during my move back to Miami, and Allan even offered to treat it for me. He could tell that I knew it had to be treated but had no idea how to do it. Lol. The shop itself is a good size, very comfortable. They've got very comfortable soft leather chairs to sit in while you enjoy a smoke. No one was playing when I went, but I saw a domino table where you can play, a must have for any cigar shop in Miami. I'll definitely be going regularly and look forward to hanging out here during the day. I bought, mainly, higher end cigars. However, they carry cigars for all budgets. Even the ones I bought were fair prices for the brands and quality. Truth be told, there are some $8 cigars that are better than $20 cigars. this is an excellent cigar store with over 600 open boxes including the largest selection of boutique cigars in South Florida. Lots of very comfortable seating and excellent tv and sound system. Open until at least midnight every night if not later. Highly recommend this store. read more
