For those struggling with their credit issues that are in need of a vehicle, it's an option. Yes, the interest rates are high, but that's the way the financing game works right now. Want to redeem yourself? You suck it up, especially if you want to get your credit back on track and do so with a vehicle at the same time. Yes, there is a mechanism installed by Carfinco where if you fail to make your car payments they have a control switch to shut your vehicle down. Due to unethical people who've skipped on their car payments, as well as town, and managed to keep a still operable vehicle they no longer have a right to possess. It's crude, but necessary. I've dealt with Carfinco through four different vehicle purchases. Carfinco is definitely not my top choice as a financing option, but you work with what you got as you continue to climb your way to better financial standing. The first two vehicles I obtained where Carfinco was concerned had me on that remote system where if I failed to pay I don't get to drive the car. Fortunately, I've never had to encounter that experience as I've made a point to keep up. The third and fourth vehicles didn't have such a device installed. By this point I earned enough trust with Carfinco to bypass this issue. Furthermore, the interest rates have gone down. I started off at the dreadful 29% and am now at 14%. Granted, 14% isn't the greatest financing rate available, but it is a step towards a direction a person needs to go in order to re-establish themselves as reliable in the cruel game of financing. I will admit their customer service skills aren't always ideal, but this is the case with every company on the planet. Some folks are better at establishing and maintaining ideal customer relations than others. Carfinco is no exception in this regard, but majority of the time when I've had to contact them I don't experience anything that would warrant me to bash them for that. I've had to defer my payments from time to time due to situations beyond my control. Again, like any other company, for as long as you communicate with them in a timely and respectable manner they will work with you. Keep in mind, like any other business, they have a company to run with responsibilities they cannot neglect either. They'll work with you for as long as you work with them. Despite the fact they do charge higher interest rates than the average bank, keep in mind it's their money they're using to help you get your vehicle. Just as you're putting enough trust in them to serve as your financial partner to obtain your vehicle, they're putting enough trust in you to pay back to them what is appropriately owed. read more

This loan company of you are even one day late they will call you all day every day from all kinds of different numbers. They also send one text and one email per day. They also charge you 80.00. They have unbelievable requirements for your insurance information. I didn't even know I needed to update mine until I got a letter saying they were discontinuing my loan because I didn't know they needed my insurance updated. This company is aggressive. They have the highest fees and they are known to be the worst loan company in the country! read more

I worked for Carfinco for approximately 1 year. All I can say is that it's a toxic environment. If you are not one of the chosen ones, you will be reprimanded for the craziest of things, like inquiring on the health of a pregnant coworker. I worked thru all my lunch hours and coffee breaks but once again got taken to task for going to my car to retrieve an item. It resulted in me falling on loose gravel and breaking my and in 2 places. I got told to suck it up because a news release and financials had to be done. I was treated like crap. I was even called out for getting a coffee from the break room. All this happened while other managers and employees took numerous smoke breaks. I couldn't even talk to someone in my office without the CFO complaining. Tracy Graf and Troy Graf ruined my 30+ year perfect employment record by accusing me of getting a phone number wrong on a press release. There was no way this would have happened as all communications had to be approved by Troy Graf and Stephan Dykau. I was a scapegoat. Coincidentally, after I was dismissed, with cause which was mad, the company delisted and the cousins made a fortune selling the rights to one of their prime software products. I don't know how these people sleep at night. Why pick on me? I did my best and had my 3 month performance approved, so what was the problem? I took a holiday which I mentioned at my interview? Because of them, my headhunter would no longer represent me and I was denied unemployment benefits. They ruined my life and I hope they and their families rot. read more

I haven't even had my car for a week and already am getting poor service. I was thrilled at first to see that my payments were going to be fairly close to what I was paying before with my other vehicle, but the payment dates didn't work for me. So I called to ask that they be changed to work with my pay days (a total of 2 days difference). Low and behold, they did a completely new contract, and upped my payments by $80 a month, AND want to charge me $25.00 "contract change fee"!! What the......! Never in my life has a company changed the payments when I asked to have the payment dates changed. Wow, haven't even had my first payment yet and this is what I got.
