Dr. Cmerjek got me in promptly when he heard of all the general practitioners, PAs, my dentist, and a N.P. that had not been able to diagnose my issue and were ALL insistent that I seek the care of an ENT. I live in Lafayette and was unable to secure an appointment with ANY ENT from Lafayette to Indianapolis before July! Yikes. I have a complex issue and a complex medical history, which makes just giving me a "silver bullet" impractical and unprofessional. I found everyone from his asst. "Barbie" to Dr. Cmerjek himself to be a professional, excellent communicator, and more than willing to take whatever time necessary to formulate a plan for me. Both staff and Doc listened intently and were giving of their time. On a scale of 0-5 stars, I give this office a SIX. Was my experience unusual? I seriously doubt it. As a 72 yo. retired engineer, I am both objective and analytical. I note that many of these reviews are for other Drs. and not Dr. Cmerjek, and two adverse reviews were left by someone who now lives in San Francisco, and her son. In general, most negative reviews are about support staff and procedures, NOT the main ingredient, when seeking care. I am not suggesting that office issues are not important, and they may well be "opportunities for improvement", but we need to sit in staff's shoes to appreciate that there may be another side to such polarized reviews. read more

THE WORST DOCTOR AND FACILITY IVE EVER BEEN TO. First visit (after waiting over an hour) the front desk staff was incredibly short and rude and not very helpful. Only to be brought back to Dr.Han who literally ran in an out of the room in about 45 seconds pushing me off to next week saying I had compacted ear wax and we can do a hearing test next visit after drops. I come back (wait another almost hour) only to be brought back told my wax was gone(not what I even came in for or the side I was worried about) before he ran out the room and never did anything else to test my hearing. Doctor is good...it's shame that this practice cannot employ staff that is pleasant to interact with. The "receptionist" was so surly & rude that it shouldn't be tolerated. If you are in pain and need urgent care and been going to this doctor for years and you say it is urgent I am in severe pain can someone see me today, YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK - WE HAVE AN APPOINTMENT IN TWO WEEKS! I was hospitalized for a week because of ear issues, I have been seeing RYAN C. CMEJREK, MD for years and his staff when I call in treat me like a bum off the Streets. The care is good if you can get in and the policy they have they will not allow you to see another Dr. in the practice especially if it is an emergency situation and they are privy to history of your issues is unacceptable. My mom went there after having pain in her jaw which moved into her sinuses. She saw Dr. Ventrapagada and described her symptoms and how she has tried multiple types of doctors and home remedies to alleviate the pain. He looked her over for less than 5 minutes with little to no care. Then, he prescribed no solution nor gave her anyone to follow up with. He basically told her that she can't handle pain. Please make this better, as this made my mom's whole situation extremely difficult. read more

I came to see Dr. Han about 7-8months ago. I had been dealing with some very impossible stuff. He smiled and was very cordial. He is a man of few words but the ones that come out of his mouth very well mean something. The first day I met him he was a chatter box. (J/k) if you know Dr. Han this is not him. He does talk though and I love when he does. He is full of knowledge and it emanates from him. The one thing I liked most about him was every though I got cold feet and tried to ignore the obvious, he sent me a letter that made me stop what I was doing and give him a call. It was a personal letter that said "hey wake up, I'm taking care of you and I'm responsible for your well being, no being lazy or irresponsible on my watch. Get your butt in gear and get in here." Those weren't his words but that's what it felt like. And I did. Man am I glad I did! The nurses, receptionists, secretary and all others were very nice and always make me feel special. Today I walked through the building so happy and on cloud nine. I could SMELL!!! All the ladies had on wonderful fragrances and they weren't overpowering. Ok I could go on about his place forever. Like the fact that every single time you come in the longest you ever wait is about 3 1/2 to 5 minutes to be seen. And then he comes into the room almost immediately after the nurse leaves out. The prices are comparable and the place is always spotless. By far my worst experience with a doctors office. Let me start out by saying Dr.Han is amazing. His staff not so much. I scheduled my surgery 2/3months in advance and they call me weeks before saying it was not scheduled on a date he was available. Then I go for my appointment before surgery and they never sent over my pain meds and I was very lucky to get them the night before my surgery. Finally they didn't schedule my post op appointment correctly either. I am aware people make mistakes but surgery is already a stressful time and this office didn't help that at all. Let me add... I would give a zero if it was an option. So unorganized! Called my husband the day before surgery that prior authorization wasn't done correctly. Only got one procedure approved not all. He already had 2 office visits, pre-op testing done and 2 scripts that will be wasted because of incompetence! read more

I love everything about this office and staff! Dr.Hann Is amazing all the staff AMAZING. Dr. Hann has done both my boys tubes, and is about to redo my youngest. He is thorough and quick to the point. Wait times are normally minimal. Thank you Dr. Hann for making my now 3 year old be able to hear properly and he can now speak in sentences and for helping my 2 year old to get to that point. read more

Dr. Han is am amazing doctor however can't say the same about this staff. His front desk workers are rude, they have attitude, speak rudely to patients. And their wait time is horrible, for all of my appointments I had with my son, I never went back at the time of and I was early for all appointments. I had a two ask them twice to change my son's pharmacy and they never changed it. I am so glad that after these next weeks are done, I pray that I do not have to step foot in the office or if needed in the future I will surely look for another ENT doctor read more

I was denied access to my medical records here because my insurance did not go through, leaving the visit bill unpaid. They tried to tell me I had to pay $130 for access to my medical records. This is illegal as we patients have a right to our records. I finally got it figured out and can get my records with a $15 fee. It is unfortunate that the front office personnel was unfriendly and lacking knowledge of important matters. read more

My husband saw three different doctors in this practice and received three different diagnoses and treatment plans. None of them were correct. My husband had two surgeries which did nothing that these guys promised they would do. He still snores like a bear, can't breath, and has polyps. We are now going to Northwestern. Regardless of the doctor they cannot hold appointment times or even close to them. Late Everytime, unprofessional and annoying.

My appointment was at 9:20 I arrived at 9:11. I was not see till 10 AM. 6 People who came in after me were seen first. The exam room had some crusted pink stuff on the counter, water stains on the walls, and the floor was filthy. Dr. Hahn saw my daughter for a total of 90 seconds and I am not exaggerating. He only looked at one ear, and it was not the ear she was having the most issues with. Asked me if I had medicaid. I said yes. He said there is nothing wrong with her. I said she can't hear us when we talk to her unless we speak very loudly, and her teachers also say she cannot hear in class. He said well, I don't see anything wrong. I wanted to cry. My poor little 8 year old will never be able to hear correctly, because Dr. Hahn does not feel like they are in the right money bracket. read more
