Horrible referral coordination system. My parent is a former client there. He received in home nursing support In 2024. He improved & his case was closed. A new issue arose (regarding wound care) & his doctor sent a referral for in home nursing again. We waited for a call, with no response, so the doctor sent in another referral. Still no response from them to schedule. My father called CarePartners directly, with referral services noting that they no longer have the staff to work in Fairview, NC. That is fine, staffing is an issue. However, how can a medical provider (of essential home based services to an elderly individual), not call (after 2 MD referrals), to say "I am sorry, we don't have the staff to provide in home nursing support in your area currently"? If you can get care from CarePartners that's great. But, they don't seem to do any follow up outreach (while needy patients are waiting) to tell you they don't have the staff. read more

I cannot speak to the hospice centers, as I believe​ the nursing staff is probably pretty great, but when it comes to the billing department, Care Partners shows absolutely no care. Care Partners supplies medical equipment to Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. I received a large bill for two prosthetic devices that I thought would be covered under my insurance as I broke my ankle and had been out of network. I had to call several times to get them to bill my insurance, and when I called, they noted that they hadn't received that information. After several tries, they did forward to my insurance, who unfortunately​ did not cover the items, despite the fact that I had received them in an emergency situation. I questioned the bill because I couldn't believe I was charged $145 for a $14.50 device, and they showed absolutely no compassion, instead charged me the full price and wouldn't budge. They kept focusing on the financial agreement that I had signed in my doctor's office when I was in pain from a broken ankle. I explained my frustration about the medical industry and the lack of access to affordable health care and asked for a discount​​, since I would be paying cash and I was currently not working. They threatened to hang up on me and so I finally caved in and paid the bill in full, again being taken advantage of by a health care system that has no interest in providing affordable services to those out of work. I feel terrible that I was forced to pay this bill, because otherwise, they would have sent it to a collection agency. read more

My mom is currently a patient at CarePartners. She is doing rehab for a broken ankle and symptoms from a stroke. The care she has received so far has been amazing. Her Dr, the nursing staff, all her therapists, social workers and everyone else involved have explained her healing process and treatment plan every step of the way. I am so appreciative of their attention to detail and professionalism with mom. We are in a unique position as we are from Florida and mom's stroke/fall happened while we were on vacation in NC. Everyone has been so gracious to us and our situation. Nothing but wonderful things to say about CarePartners- thank you so very much!! read more

THEFT... experienced a number of items stolen. These items included imy wallet. I lost a beautiful nighty, robe, undergarments and wallet, Face cream, a top and slippers. I reported this to charge nurse, discharge planner, and nurses. I had shoulders shrugged and comments or replies that there is nothing that could be done. The discharge planner told me that on admission the nurses ask for inventory and offer items to be put in a safe. They could not produce the paperwork or notation that this was done. The nurses were inconsistent in their care everyone doing their own techniques. They were very loud in the hallway and the most upsetting thing was when there was a patienthad aion that caused them to either shout out or make loud noises they were made, they were fun of by the nurses. One lady made noises that sounded like a baby goat. She could not help us this. Yet the stashowed no tolerance and yelled at her. They took their time answering her when she needed help. They avoided her room as much as possible. They called her names and cursed at her. And there was another older gentleman who had had a stroke and would yell out incoherently. One nurse entered his room and one coming out called him a bastard. The discharge nurse entered my room and asked me how I could stand the noise of the pit of a patient. My response was I no longer hear it, maybe because I prayed for her. I said to the nurse " there but for the grace. ((Ii I I explained to the nurse that I felt kindness and time spent with the patient could be helpful. Complaining about her especially to other patients was inappropriate at the least I want to complement the program itself and the many disciplines that cared for me. I found them all supportive and considerate of my needs. The doctor that was assigned to me was spectacular come. And I told them I told him so. in spite of my mind complaints which were mostly about the staff, I would recommend an IV praise highly praise the rehabilitation program. They really care that you improve and are very supportive. Please excuse any errors in the above written summary. The program does not allow for erasure. read more

Fantastic!!!!!! Everyone is so friendly and helpful! The receptionists are friendly and efficient ( Kelly is phenomenally warm and friendly!). Scheduling is easy and financial services are clear and easy to understand. My therapists are the best!!!! Ellen for Aqua therapy is friendly, receptive and challenging! everything was great nurses were great especially DREW. he got me thru the hardest two days and that helped me make it thru to the end. and my two therapist beckett in pt and jessica in op. the aids to help you were great too. i only had one complaint and i will take care of that in a different place. apararanty i can't do this in a private forma . my person in charge of me staying and going home was one of the rudest persons i have come upon. for a women in her occupation she was so uncaring and out and out mean. told me i had to be out in ten days . now this is my second or third day just had a recent amputation at age 69 was put thru my first 3 hour of rehab you get which was great in the end but overwhelming at first . just came in to my room and didn't even introduce herself and said i had to be out in 10 days and if i wasn't ready for home i would have to go someplace else. my question to her was what happen to the 14 days . her reply was and i had people in my room to hear everything she said you have 10 days i don't know who told you 14 but you have 10 and left my room . if she was in a bad mood or had something against me she should not treat anyone like she did me . it took me 14 days to leave and i refused to have her discharge me. i might have used guidelines wrong but i didn't use her name but she's a r n/ cm . stephanie took her place and she was wonderful like everything else . read more
