Horrible and zero help in my DV case. They said to not hire my own lawyer because they would help…read moreprovide resources and kept trying to get me to join their housing program even though I already had a safe place to go. They ended up telling me to represent myself and after over a decade of abuse, I'm not going to face that man in court alone so I dropped it. They never checked in or cared to support me after that. This organization is a joke.

Not sure where to start, except I should have just went to live with my alcoholic brother in…read moreanother state. But I allowed their DV advocate, because social workers have degrees in social work or psychology, talk me into coming there. They were all nice and love bombing at first, but then they suddenly become strange and really bossy after. I thought perhaps there was some conflict of interest with the Masons, but they never got back to me on that one. They blamed me for a woman who appeared to have pedfile vibes, who appeared to be grooming my child, when she tried to lure my child into her room. My child was smart enough not to go in there but it was all my fault. My child now refers to the woman as Mrs. Epstein. Then they allowed another woman who had a ton of kids (that allowed her one year old to play in a plugged in toaster, who told me her family were Eastern star Masons wake up the whole place with noise targeting. Then I got in trouble for saying Mason. I was told that I would be nowhere if it wasn't for them, I would be out on the street, like a human trafficker or domestic violence perpetrator would say. I also was told not to have a voice, and my child was having major panic attacks there due to all of this, including my advocate, 3rd one should I say, because the ones who had empathy quit. They were not very good on giving me resources at first, the woman with so many kids who couldn't keep track of, got it all. My child was told every day, that she would have to get rid of her cat, even though they allowed us to bring the cat. They are some highly manipulative people there, with a lot of emotional abuse for a domestic violence advocacy. Then I found a place and as my child sat there happy, the advocate had our lease cancelled. They rewrote it. Not sure why? But anyway, they had lack of integrity, lack of empathy, and oh yeah they will show up at your job unexpected. Crossing client staff boundaries, against policy. I know I reached out and spoke to a couple way across the state, as I felt like I was being targeted by verbal and emotional abuse, as well as lack of resources. Bad place to be, just terrible. I mean it felt just like the psychopath I left with the emotional abuse, almost like they were trying to prove me to be mentally unstable just like my DV perpetrator was doing. I mean years of phone and email hacking, 3rd party stalking, showing up at my job, lying about the resources, discrimination against certain ones. Then they kicked a little girl out and her mom on the street, and the one DV advocate said they were going to call CPS on her. They kicked her out for reacting to the noise, screaming at 5am and the alarms going off, like it was some military boot camp. Just terrible, Reach for the stars but not them.
