In the midst of taking my insurance information, the phone rang and instead of asking the caller to hold so that she could finish just simply adding my info to the system (which I am sure they had due to this not being my first visit) , she took the call. She proceeded to talk with this call for about 10 minutes while I stood there waiting. Apparently, we was going to be sure I would not be seen due to, i(f there were indeed) "appointments every fifteen minutes" the next person was about to walk into the door. The receptionist had a terrible attitude from the time I walked in, this is definitely the last thing one needs to deal with when undergoing a sudden health issue. I had to interrupt her call in order to ask for my insurace card back so that I could go somewhere else that actually cared about their patients. Do better, Premier Health and perhaps try and find a bit more of a compassionate human being as your receptionist.

I was not informed of this issue and my debit card was charged two months later for over $1100. The prices that they were charging were so much more than an Urgent Care visit. After contacting the insurance company, there was a system issue on their end and they said they would resubmit the claim within 30 days. Minute Clinic said that they would only refund me after they received the money from the insurance provider. They also mentioned the refund would take 4-6 weeks to process. This is absolutely ridiculous. How can they expect people to be able to wait for this process? If there is an issue with insurance, why can they not reach out to the patient to attempt to remedy before they charge your card without any notice? I will never give my service to Minute Clinic, or CVS for that matter.
