History

Established in 1984.

Youth Habilitation Quinte Inc. was founded in 1984. After growing for over 30 years Youthab continues to provide service to youth and adults from its various offices in Belleville, Trenton, Madoc, Bancroft, Picton, Napanee, Northbrook, Campbellford, Amherstview, Smiths Falls and Kingston with a staff of over 75 full and part-time professionals. It continues to operate a 9-bed fully staffed Transition Home in Belleville, 13 semi-independent Co-Operative Housing homes containing 57 beds throughout Hastings and Prince Edward Counties, an employment program under the name Career Edge in 7 different locations, and the Hastings Housing Resource Centre and Intensive Case Management program in Belleville and Trenton with access throughout Hastings County provided via a website.
