Well Artur's impressed each lady in a large group. From their variety of pierogis, deliciously prepared kielbasa, Salmon dishes with freshness abound, one Salmon offered beautiful beets sparking moist. The Rueben perfection, others had the variation of salads, Greek, Beet Carpaccio, Garden. Gyros's, with Chicken Sandwich with Boom Sauce, Philly Cheeese and so many more other delights! Our outstanding full attentive servers were Khaley and Miranda! Both were spot on! Drinks, Apps, Entree, special requests on the entree, nothing was an issue to accommodate our ladies. We were placed in their large private room and the set in a U SHAPE was very accommodating for all to be able to speak and hear each other. WITHOUT LEAVING FLORDA…read more On Wednesday, October 21, 2026, 40 Charlotte County Girlfriends (CCGF) gathered for another fabulous Wednesday luncheon, this time at Made in Italy, a charming Italian ristorante in Venice! Upon arrival at noon, we were welcomed into a private dining room that gave us a little ambiance of Italy! Fresh Italian bread arrived with olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping while our server began taking drink orders. And, ladies, you know we had OPTIONS! From limoncello martinis and espresso martinis to delicious red wines, sparkling whites, and plenty of other adult beverages and soft drinks, there was something for everyone! AND THEN CAME THE FOOD! MAMMA MIA! Our girlfriends enjoyed a wonderful variety of Italian favorites, including paninis filled with meatballs, prosciutto, and vegetables with eggplant. Others indulged in beautiful pasta dishes, including pear-stuffed tortellini in Alfredo sauce, fettuccine Alfredo, ravioli, and angel hair pasta. And, of course, there were individual pizzas, freshly prepared with toppings selected to suit each person's taste! With so many delicious choices, there was certainly no shortage of happy plates around our tables! NOW, LET'S TALK ABOUT THE SERVICE... As much as we enjoyed our luncheon, we do need to address one concern. CCGF is a leisurely dining group that loves to relax, socialize, laugh, and enjoy one another's company. However, even our patient girlfriends noticed the challenges created by having only one server and one bartender serving the entire restaurant. In addition to our party of 40, there were other guests dining both inside and outside. Our server did her very best to manage the orders and attend to everyone, and we certainly appreciated her efforts. That said, with a reservation for 40 made months in advance, we had hoped the restaurant would have arranged additional staffing to accommodate our group alongside its regular customers. A little extra planning would have made the dining experience smoother for everyone. Thankfully, our girlfriends were gracious, understanding, and wonderfully accommodating throughout the afternoon. That's one of the things we love about this group! NOW, THE GOOD NEWS... THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT! If you're craving delicious Italian cuisine in a charming setting, Made in Italy is definitely worth putting on your dining list! Just be sure to make a reservation. We had a wonderful time together, enjoyed great food and conversation, and left with happy hearts and full bellies! Will CCGF be back? ASSOLUTELY!
