Rene was an excellent medical assistant and I wish all healthcare professionals that I meet were like that. He was very kind and did everything to make sure you felt comfortable. NP Kamrin was a bit rude and insensitive to my pain and wasn't helpful overall. I felt like she was on a power trip writing prescriptions for everything on the planet. The physician assistant, Brooke, completely disregarded the fact that my son has asthma. Despite him explaining that he needed a steroid, she prescribed only cough medicine. Later that same day, I had to take my son to a different doctor's office, where he was immediately prescribed a steroid--and he is already doing much better. On top of that, Michaela at the front desk did not follow through with sending the prescription to the pharmacy. In addition to that she continuously talked over me when I attempted to explain my frustration. Hours later, when I checked with the pharmacy, they told me they had never received it. I called the doctor's office, and they admitted the submission had failed, but no one bothered to double-check or notify us. This wasted half a day while my son went without the medication he needed. This office fell extremely short of my expectations in both professionalism and patient care. If I could give zero stars, I would.
