Thankfully Dr. Davis is a professional who respects bodily autonomy. I am terrified of needles, and the amazing nurses and care team at Woman's made my experience one of the smoothest I've ever had. The technicians were kind, explained everything to me, and made sure I felt cared for. I am almost a week post-op and even though I am generally very sensitive and my health is poor, I am recovering unusually fast and have very little pain. I can only think to attribute this to the expertise of the surgeon. When I do have pain, I don't feel like I need to ration my medication, because they gave me all that I needed and didn't skimp. My only issue was that I need valium or xanax for anxiety and I was told I couldn't take it before the procedure due to consent forms. I learned that other patients were allowed to take theirs and it just depends on who the doctor and hospital staff are that I speak to before my surgery. Anxiety medicine doesn't nullify contracts or affect the outcome of pregnancy tests, so there is no reason I had to wait all morning without it until right before my procedure. Other than this issue, I had a very positive experience overall.

First impression of Dr. Callerame was good, he listened to all of my concerns and treated my issues. My second appointment is when the issue came to play. I came back for a 3 month follow up and was 7 minutes past my appointment. The Doctor had already left for the day is what his nurse said to me after I had checked and and sat in the waiting room, waiting for 10 minutes. They told me I would need to reschedule my appointment. I tried to reschedule my appointment with him for another close appt. Thi was an appointment to discuss if my medication that was prescribed to me, by him was working for my debilitating migraines. The medication had not been working, so I informed the nurse of this. She was very rude and told me that all she could do is schedule me out 3 more months. Keep in mind they have a 15 minute grace period for appointments, and I was only 7 mins late. I work for Our Lady of The Lake, and is in the process of trying to find another neurologist.

They respected her condition and took it into consideration when scheduling her appointment. She was very unsteady when walking and getting onto the examination table. The doctor helped in that regard and helped to re-dress her. They all went above and beyond! They also just gained a new patient because I was so impressed with our visit today. I take no pleasure in writing this review, because my father was seriously injured in this "care"…read morefacility at 2:00 AM this morning. We placed him here to temporarily convalesce while out-of-town family members coordinated to provide care ourselves in his own home. This was just supposed to be for a few days. Early this morning, my 75-year-old father fell and fractured his right hip as he was there to rehabilitate a right knee replacement and wait out pulmonary embolism, which occurred the prior week. The staff was made aware at the time of the incident and did absolutely nothing except try to silence my father, who was left alone to suffer the intense pain of a hip fracture with no intervention whatsoever. They did not call for an ambulance or bother contacting the family at the very least to let us know that his life was actually in danger, because he is on blood thinners and withstood pulmonary embolisms after his knee replacement. This facility, which seems to pride itself on professional negligence, didn't even bother to let us know what had happened. We received no notice until the next morning at 11 AM when he was in imaging getting an x-ray. So, instead of worrying about my fathers life, this company was busy circling their wagons, shoring up their posture, expecting recompense. This is OUTRAGEOUS and the community at large better do cursory research before blindly placing their loved ones into the custody of a facility based upon their website or phone system. Do not place people you care about here. You will never feel so helpless. No one will take our calls.
