Now from the ER staff, everyone, including xray, respiratory, phlebotomists, doctors, nurses, etc. Thank you for being so efficient and caring and understanding to how serious I thought my struggle to breathe was important. And it was, I have pneumonia! They were very courteous to explain that me recognizing the signs probably saved my life.....no they did. Now I have been admitted and I feel I'm in a resort! The staff, nurses, doctors, aids, cleaning staff, food service, oh and by the way the food is AWESOME...very tasty. But the respiratory staff oh my gosh everyone is so wonderful to me and attentive and never complain when I ask for something, and I hate to be a bother! I say to everyone from the beginning of my dilemma to the time I leave back to my family....THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART FOR SAVING MY LIFE, AS I FEEL YOU DID, GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND YOUR FAMILIES, you need more appreciation and understanding not ignorant asses as I have heard some... to those who have the nerve to be ignorant or rude to any of these lifesavers, get your heads out of your butts, wake up and realize the wonderful they are doing, and that your not the only person that needs their help! If your walking, or riding out of here breathing, thank them don't be so hateful, and thank God for them. I am very thankful and I appreciate all of them, and if this world would get there heads out of their butts, thank the service people that help us every day maybe just maybe this world would be a better place! It is absolutely ridiculous that people who live in Laporte have to go to Michigan City to get lab…read morework done. I just went to the hospital to get my yearly labs done and they said that they don't do labs at the hospital unless you are having surgery or are pregnant. Seriously!?!? People who live in Laporte shouldn't have to go out of town to get labs done. Get with it Laporte Hospital. You're just in it for the $$, not for the Patients. No respect at all!

My son has special medical conditions that warrant constant oversight and visits to the doctor and they always try to help me out even on short notice. They are very parent-centered in care and allow parents to make choices about medical care without coercion or fear tactics. I love this practice. I am over half an hour away since moving and I would never ever consider moving elsewhere. I have also had good experiences with the nurses and a few of the other practitioners when our NP was unavailable. I have a lot of friends that go here as well and I don't know anyone that has had a bad experience with the medical care received.

Finding new dr for upcoming year because who schedules appointments and then continues to wait as if a walk in and dealing with the staff up front isn't pleasant. We already have kids and to add all these request on top is ridiculous. Also drs do bare min no recommendations to specialists etc when needed. All concerns to this office have been brushed off as overly protective parent but it has not been the case after child ended up in emergency and needing specialist on a few occasions.

Month after month I told her about it and nothing happened. I visited my family doctor, my ob and talked to my nephrologist all to no avail. My mom suggested her family doctor so I saw him. He recommended Dr Goreja. I met him and as soon as I told him my concerns he ordered the bloodwork and had it drawn on-site. It was nothing major, but I just wanted answers, I wanted to understand my body and what was happening. He treated me with incredible respect and was down to earth, easy to talk to and never makes me feel rushed or embarrassed. It's honestly one of the best decisions I have ever made regarding my health care. Now over 6 years later, I have had a kidney transplant and am expecting! Dr Goreja is excellent, you can trust him.

CVS even faxed the office twice and I called three times! Finally I had to call my cardiologist to see if he would call in my medicine and they had it called in within 20 minutes! I had been trying to get Dr. Morris's office to fill the medicine since last week when CVS first Called it in! Dr. Morris is the best doctor out there, but her nurses are the worst! Rude, uncaring and no sympathy whatsoever! And these are nurses! Why exactly did they go to school to be nurses when they clearly do not care about their patients?! Please Beacon hire nurses that actually care! Please!!
