Then he mentioned they can do all kinds of stuff around the house. So we ended up asking to paint the bathroom ceilings, to paint also a piece of wall, to fix leaking faucets, to put extra shelves, to paint again, to fix the door and many other things. Everything was done within two days, swiftly and clean. Daniel is very responsive and nice. A very hardworking person. The price is absolutely reasonable.

The quote process was quick and straight forward and he was able to get us scheduled quickly and at a time that worked for us. Bryan did a second coat at no additional cost when after the first coat it became clear it was needed - even though he had originally only planned on one. When we noticed a small two inch nook that was missed after he left he turned around and came back to get the area. He was very receptive to any touch ups I saw and asked him to fix which were not many. We plan to use Bryan again for future painting needs around our house! Pros: -Clean work -Professional attitude and demeanor -Good job painting edges and giving the space a professional painted look -Did what was needed for the space (2nd coat) rather than just what was initially estimated at no additional cost or prompting from me

He did come originally when he stated he would, and brought a worker with him. They supposedly repaired the leaks, stating that he stood behind his work, and that he would come back if the leak continues and fix it at no extra cost to me until I was satisfied that the gutters no longer leaked on the outside and inside of my sunroom. It still leaked. He returned once, took a look, stated that the under plywood was wet from rain due to the leak and once it dried, within a few days; there would no longer be a leak since he repaired the gutters; no more rain could get in. He promised me that! Several Weeks later, the leak continues. He has not returned, and no longer answers my text messages. F/U, The Contractor Eddie contacted me today, and refunded me a fair amount of the money I'd paid him, and apologized for not contacting me last week as promised. Of course the gutter problem has still not been resolved.

He gave my husband and me the gift of the installation of a custom fold-down cutting board where a rickety fold-down ironing board used to be. This, of course, was totally his idea because he's creative like that. The cutting board is beautiful, solid, and functional, adding 30% more surface area to our kitchen. It's far superior to the ironing board that was there previously. He used top notch parts, sourced from specialty cabinet makers, to construct it. Ian was also timely and cleaned up after himself. I would feel confident hiring Ian for bigger projects, as I have seen him helping his former employer (my Dad) build bathrooms, kitchens, basements, and more. Sure, I may be his sister, but I'm his older sister and thus prone to harsh judgement... so you know you can trust my review, and Ian with all of your handyman needs.
