History
Established in 2024.
Cardinal Home Inspections was founded in 2024 by Jeff Stalnaker, a veteran entrepreneur with deep roots in the pool and spa industry. Born into a military family, Jeff grew up moving from place to place — an upbringing that built adaptability, discipline, and a sharp eye for detail that he carries into every inspection today.
After more than 30 years building and growing a successful pool and spa business across East Texas, Jeff recognized a natural opportunity to expand into home inspections — bringing his hands-on technical expertise to buyers, sellers, and builders who needed more than just a checklist. Cardinal Home Inspections was built from the ground up to serve Tyler, Longview, Kilgore, Athens, Palestine, and the surrounding East Texas communities with the thoroughness and integrity that come from decades of real-world experience.
Meet the Business Owner: Jeff S.
Hi, I'm Jeff Stalnaker, owner and inspector at Cardinal Home Inspections. Born into a military family, I grew up moving around — which gave me a deep appreciation for what it means to finally find a place to call home.
I spent 30+ years building a business in the pool and spa industry, which naturally led me into pool and spa inspections and eventually full home inspections. In 2024, I launched Cardinal Home Inspections to serve East Texas homebuyers, sellers, and builders across Tyler, Longview, Kilgore, Athens, Palestine, and beyond.
I'm InterNACHI certified, AHIT trained, and TDI certified. Every inspection is backed by a 200% Satisfaction Guarantee, a 90-Day Inspection Warranty, and a Buyers Protection Guarantee. When you hire me, you get someone who takes your investment as seriously as you do.
