This location is a bit smaller than the one near DT PHX, but closer to me. In fact, I like this place better because it's less crowded, and shorter lines on Taco Tuesdays -- $1 tacos all day long. There's a lot of reviews, even from "Yelp Elites," with complaints about customer service; but, I never had a bad experience here. It's the same little old lady behind the hot food counter. My Spanish is mediocre at best, but she always helps me with a smile when I make an effort to order in Spanish. read more

I typically like going to Los Altos over other big grocers like El Super, but this review does not necessarily reflect my preference as I will only review a specific disappointment. Not all Los Altos Ranch Markets are created equal. This location does not fry fish until 10am. I wish they advertised to call ahead if different stores operate however they like. read more

I was treated disrespectfully by the store manager on Sunday, September 6th at 8:00 pm. He rolled his eyes at me because I was having difficulty checking out. He was very rude to me and tried to humiliate me. As a manager, he should be treating everyone with respect, regardless of their nationality. He was talking with 2 other female associates about me. He was not professional or kind. He should not be in charge if he has no customer service skill. I have reported this incident to their corporate office. read more

Abrianna the cashier should really be fired or retrained. I went in today and not one word did she say to anyone that was checking out, was making a face and rolling her eyes the whole time. If you don't want to help people why work there? read more

The store overall is a bit outdated but that doesn't take away from offering a traditional Hispanic style groceries. I like that they have already made food so if you're in the mood for some Mexican soups they have them ready to enjoy. I went here to buy some yellow corn tortillas to make tacos at home. Usually they have freshly made tortillas prepackaged for purchase but unfortunately they were all out. There was what look like two employees at the end of the warm conveyor belt waiting to pack them but I guess the machine was not producing them fast enough. There was already a line of people waiting so I opted for flour small tortillas due to none being available. As I head over to check out they only have two registers open.. Not good, they had at least a minimum of 15 people wrapping around displays and aisles waiting to be checked out. I make my way over to the self-checkout because I see the sign for 25 items or less so my chances were better there. I get in line and out of the 15+ people in self checkout there was 6 with half full baskets... They really need to implement the rule for all. This was insane! Waited 35 minutes to pay for a $16.75 grocery bill. Do better grocers, do better. read more

I was also reading the reviews. And half of the reviews are from the own employees. Common ranch market. Give better service and you will have sincere reviews from customers. Cancel them!! For writing their own reviews and lying to customers with their own employee reviews read more

Went to go get my phone fixed at this phone repair place in ranch market , he told told me it will be 80 but when I went to get the phone he was trying to charge me 90$ that's not an issue but when I paid and go my phone my service button on my service button didn't turn on so I went back in and he said that it's fine or whatever. So I go home and I open my sims slot and the sims card wasn't in there so I go back in and confront him but he said he didn't have anything to do with but if he didn't why wasn't it in there. Bad service I don't not recommend unless you wanna get fraud done to you read more

Still love this store. However, it always amazes me when I'm served by someone who's utterly indifferent to your existence or what you want to purchase; moreover could care less about having a job, or serving you. Agua refrescos stand at 3pm this afternoon was a great example. What's soursop? Don't know. You don't know? No. Oh. Okay. Sorry to bother you. I'll have a small banana.....I shove my credit card in. Thanks for your payment. Remove your card. Cool. Ready to go methinks. "You haven't paid." The machine just said I paid. "You still haven't paid." Okay. I'll do it again then. Grab my drink and go. Discover card now says I bought two drinks. Thanks. I really should trust my instincts more when they tell me not to leave the house. Didn't catch h the lady's name. Turns out soursop tastes like a mix of strawberries, apple and citrus and is popular in the Caribbean. Sounds great. read more

I bought for the first time the fresh made pig skin in a bag for $11.17 Xmas eve. Couldn't return then. They were hard as a rock, couldn't break them. Cheap bag broke also. Called them SEVERAL times and a man named Danny doesn't answer, box full all the time. I just wanted to tell them to get a refund but IMPOSSIBLE. That's a lot of money for me. Very frustrating. Beware of what you buy without checking it. Store however was very nice so not all bad. read more

I love this place! This isn't just a marketplace, it's: grocery, lunch spot, prepared foods, cellphones, banking, cafe and bakery. The cakes look amazing and affordable. The produce is perfect - free of wax and tons has specialty items. Not the stuff you would find at your local large-chain Fry's. You can pick up a 12 pack of Coke and Mexican candy. I have to admit, I felt really out of place walking around; like I was trespassing and shouldn't be there, since I don't speak Spanish but it was okay. The cashiers spoke English but the women handing out samples and some of the counter workers did not. Everyone was very friendly. A smile and a thank you goes a long way. I could have spent hours here. We browsed around, almost bought a lot of stuff but settled on horchata mix and red pepper seasoning blend for elotes, that would travel well in a suitcase and I can't get in Michigan. Large pinatas hang from the ceiling, will run you about $30. The cafe seating area is communal, with large TV mounted from the ceiling, broadcasting shows in Spanish. It was surely a great place to check out. read more

I go there on Sundays to get the menudo. It is a good deal and I always get plenty for the price. Unfortunately on this visit the manager attended to my order. when I got home the menudo had more bones then Tripe or Pozole. I was disappointed. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SERVICE EVER ! Very upsetting poor costumer service and poor management ! Employees do not greet costumers and not talk whatsoever ! No sense of urgency while working ! Slow service , to start off all the cashiers look like they're annoyed with the costumers , there was 4 lanes closed while there was a full crowd of costumers , where are the managers to step in and help out ? I went to the food/juices stand because my father in law got a juice so I went to get one after and the lady at the juice station said very rudely "we're not serving juices right now" the atmosphere was so tense , costumers were getting desperate, we all have things to do. I was going through the reviews and all they do is a generic "apology response" if they were actually sorry they would've fix it right away ! read more

The only reason I gave one star is because it was my only option. Worse experience dealing with a assistant supervisor named Rosalinda. when ask for help she rolled her eyes and told me she doesn't speak English. So I spoke to her in spanish and still ignored and walked away. Way to go Ranch market you guys know how to hire people. Because of her I would love to give you guys a negative star. Will never recommend this place again. read more

I have shopped here several times. Favorite departments are produce, food court and bakery. The produce department has a great chili selection and large tomatillos. I have had many meals at the food court. Usually carne asada burros or street tacos. Very tasty and filling. They make the food in front of you and they add whatever condiments that you want. The bakery department is special. Lots of Mexican Pastry and the terimisu cake is exceptional. read more

This store used to be a good place to pick up food especially when you get your seafood fried. in the last couple of weeks, they have an excuse to not fry the seafood. if it's not because they turn off the fryers at 6pm or because they don have thawed fish to fry during the evening dinner rush. The lines to check out are always long and no one working there seems to care about the stores appearance. Can't find clean shopping carts either. All have some sort of trash and sticky. read more

Cajero Miguel. Horrible service and meat in the meat department. Definitely would not recommend getting meat from this location. It was overpriced and not even good meat. The lady seemed upset when I asked for what was in the case. Not sure why she didn't want to sell it since it was the end of the night. Unfortunately, I should have listened to my instincts and should not have made the purchase. Live and learn. read more

Ranch Market always holds a previous place in my heart. This particular location is a bit smaller than the rest, yet it still provides all the usual services and is straight to the point. Their paneria and juice bar are top notch, with fresh baked goods and delicious juices made on premises. The food area is great, fast service and excellent customer service. The produce area is always on point! Bright vibrant colors with great sales and stock. read more

This is a huge, noisy, very colorful food market with the same layout that you'd find in the other Pro's Ranch markets. Lots and lots of inexpensive food items including many things you won't find in most supermarkets, especially if you're looking for ingredients for Mexican cuisine. The market is well-organized, with distinct areas with huge signs - Carniceria, Pescaderia, Jugos, etc. And do try the in-store eatery / taqueria which serves good street tacos, enchiladas, and other standard mass-appeal Mexican dishes. read more

If you are in a hurry don't stop here. There is no rhyme or reason to the ordering queue. The employees eventually help you when they feel like it even though you already ordered your sandwich. Ridiculous!!! Not only did I wait 10-15 minutes but then my order was wrong. Never again. read more

Ranch Market is an amazing place to find a variety of groceries. Their meat deli, cheese deli, and taco bar are amazing. I come here every time that I am in the valley to get their Taco Tuesday special. Their carne asada is so flavorful and great. All the employees here are super nice and helpful as well. They have a wide variety of groceries that are perfect for home. A lot of their items/products are cheaper than other places as well which makes them that much better! Their juice bar is incredible as well. They offer numerous juice options that are all extremely delicious for a good price. I purchase chorizo from their meat deli along with their tasty carne asada. My husband went to buy a juice, with beets, oranges, celery and oranges. The lady at the juice section said they were out of beets, while next to her there was a cartful an entire bag of beets, my husband goes out to point out that there was a whole bag of them , the lady says that those are to be used the next day and are not for sale .confused my husband asked why? she didnt have an answer except that they are to be used the next day and not that day. my husband then offers to go get some beets from the vegetable section for her, she said that he would have to buy them at the register. my husband goes out and buys them, pays for them and then beings them back to her. she proceeds to make the juice, and then charges my husband for the juice?? he ends up paying double for the beets. ive found that the worse customer service is at the juice stand. read more

Upon examination this Ranch Market is very clean and organized! I actually like shopping here. Well stocked and doesn't smell bad. Lol

Great store, very friendly employees always willing to help me and my lame excuse of the Spanish language. Hey, at least I try! Love that they have prepared masas for tortillas and tamales; saves me so much time. On certain days, they also have roasted poblano and Anaheim chiles, hot and bagged up, ready to go. Great produce selection. Same for their cheeses, seafood and meats; always find what I'm looking for. The breads and desserts section is colorful and fun; lots of good stuff. I mustn't forget their prepared hot foods... so good! There's a reason you'll find that area crowded during lunch hour... and if you don't know, now you know :) read more

Went to try their menudo and it's not very good. There were large chunks of fat, large bones, didn't look like it was cleaned of the fat on the tripa . It also wasn't cut very good. I will not go back for menudo. Terrible experience. The cashier at the food counter moved very slow knowing the line was backed up. Didn't look like he wanted to be there. C'mon Ranch Market.
