Card March is a pretty game football tradition that originated in 2003 for all university of Louisville Cardinals home football games.
The premise of the March is about 3-4 hours before home games the university of Lousiville football team and staff gather up and walk through this Louisville themed tunnel that goes under central Avenue and through the cardinal stadium parking lot/tailgate area.
They March with the home fans gathers on both sides of the tunnels and the fans cheer them on and wish them luck as they March there way into the stadium entrance.
Overall, this is a cool tradition. I've been a season ticket holder the majority of last 20 years and I haven't really participated in this too many times as I'm not a huge tailgate person. But I have gotten there early enough a few times to check out this and it's always lively and fun. read more
