At the front of the store is stationary and cards, a little further back are toys, even further back is jewelry and wedding sorts of gifts, and then to the left of the jewelry are random gifts, many with a British theme. It also has a nistory of Nottingham display which we did not see due to a lack of time. Hopefully we'll go back another day to see the rest. The ground floor also houses the Sherwood Forester's Regimental museum (reviewed seperately) The musem is large and spacious and has a coffee shop and gift shop on the ground floor. This is access for the disabled, and all floors have stairs and lift access.

I find myself wanting "one of everything" in the shop when I visit, so consider yourself warned! Located in the historic Lace District, it's only appropriate that Debbie also sells artworks featuring old lace patterns salvaged from a former local factory. There's many other artsy, cool and interesting shops & restaurants to be found close by in the 'hood so it's worth making an afternoon of it. Truly delightful!

I do suspect that it…read moredoesn't get as much trade as it would if it were on the main high street, indeed, we had lived in West Bridgford for two years before we even noticed that it was a shop, and not just a house. Since discovering it, we have found it to be a very useful shop indeed - for cards, and girls. The merchandise is cute and girly - I guess with a name Daisy Daisy you might expect so. Little gifts for gardening, cooking, etc. Photo albums, cute t-shirts, mugs and bowls. There are some lovely items, but they need to be for someone who likes cute. The cards and wrapping paper are top class, you pay for them certainly, but that's what we expect in West Bridgford. Some quite different stuff here. We like the shop - it isn't for everyone, but we like it!!

the diddle shop have some really cute items and teddy bears but it can be expensive they make…read morereally great gifts for children prob more for girls but i think they do have some boy-ish products too, if you have the money its worth spending here for some stuff. Their products are really good quality, they do have some pencils and notebooks and keyrings which are quite good value so they make good stocking fillers or small gifts for partys and pass the parcel games.

This is a beautiful shopping centre within the walls of the council house itself. There are a couple of galleries, which always have interesting stuff in, although the prices make me run away usually! At Christmas, they have the prettiest, largest Christmas tree in Nottingham, towering up at the cross point of the arcade. It really is worth a visit in December, and I make a point of using the arcade as a cut through - it also gets you out of the wind and rain for a few minutes!
