Kunze Plumbing - My electric fireplace!

Kunze Plumbing

This was my experience with Kunze Plumbing. Mr. Kunze showed up on time, which was good. I had…read morehired him to fix the gas flow inadequacy to our fireplace, which was communicated to him before he took the job. Jackson Electric had tested the propane line into the fireplace and told me that the flow was inadequate, likely due to blockage. Kunze checked and said the flow was actually fine and worked on the fireplace insert instead. We could light it, but the flame was low. He spent a significant portion of the billed time on the phone with the manufacturer. The last hour that I was billed for was for another call, which was not made from my home, in which he made arrangements with the manufacturer to return the unit to be fixed or replaced. His total bill was $450. I had already paid Jackson Electric a couple hundred dollars, and the cost of the fireplace insert was less than $400. After I paid Kunze's bill, I purchased an electric fireplace insert for $250, and I am delighted with it. I do not know if Jackson Electric or Mr. Kunze was correct, but they gave me conflicting information, and after spending over $1,000 for a new propane fireplace insert, I had to spend another $250 to go electric and get a fully operational heater!

Bryan did an after hours rush trip to my beach house. I was with several of my friends and they…read moretried to flush a dead jellyfish down one of the toilets (don't ask me why). Of course, it got clogged and none of them knew how to unstop it. My plunger was dry-rotted, so it was no use. In comes Bryan, like a champ and gets us unclogged in no time. I hope we never have to call a plumber again, but if we do Bryan is our guy. Thanks for saving the weekend!
